This makes me feel very sick when reading about it I don´t even have a AD document, because I don´t wanna die if I end up in hospital. What happens if I refuse to make a copy? Or will I get disfellowshipped by telling my true standing in this? -

First thing, change clothes, I always hated to wear a skirt. Next I turn the computer on, play a game or listen to music and try to forget all about the meeting soon as possible. -

More tan 24 hours later I have now recovered from it. Yes it was linked to KHs, from a branch visit I guess, but surprisingly no GB member as mentioned.
It started quite good, with a lots of talk about personal freedom in matters that are not specifically described in the Bible. Such as eating meat sacrificed to idols in Korinthians. But it got much worse, when the speaker came to the subject of always obeying the faithful and discreet slave. Specially on the matter of higher education... (surprise?)
And after that I simply dropped my concentration.

What Things Did You Not Talk About as a JW?
by minimus inyou have to lead a secret life as a jw.
you're not supposed to over drink, go to night clubs, enjoy worldly concerts, etc.....sex, though is really taboo.
you could never freely talk about your sex life.

Question is: What things can I not talk about as a JW? ....Well, almost nothing about any of my interests -

Thats what my mum said anyway, and I just thought like " Yeah right" I can´t remember we have ever had it before, is it a new take? I found out that this James Mantz is a director of Kingdom support services inc. Is he still that? Very odd btw with all these companies run by the WTBTS.

Are Jehovah's Witnesses Happy?
by minimus ini know of the local congregation's issues, per an elder i know quite well.
he has said that nearly everyone in the congregation is suffering emotionally and mentally.
he said he has never seen so many witnesses with so many problems.

From my experience: No! Absolutely not, they seem much happier on my workplace than in my cong. I also know a few people with mental issues in the cong. -

Memorial talk
by Gorbatchov init was a year ago we visited the kh at last.
yesterday evening when went to the memorial for family reasons.. the memorial talk was very slick.. there was no mention about the early christian times, no mention about the apostles and disciples.. it was a present day talk only.. the ties to the foundation of christianity were totally absent.

Instead of starting a new topic about the memorial which I was on, I can you a bit of my experience. Although I sat and daydreamed some of the time, I heard a lot of talking about the anointed and that they are really sure about their calling and so on. The speaker even managed to mention one person in the GB, I think it was Jackson, about an experience he had with someone asking if JW would go to heaven, The speaker almost had an admiring look on his face when talking about him. Our speaker by the way is a well know elder in my country, he has been CO and I think everyone knows him, wonder why our cong got him.
Anyway I thought: Shouldn`t this speech be more about Jesus and his sacrifice than about something else? It´s not getting through to me, I dont get feeling I am supposed to get (whatever that is). So I watched the movie Passion of the Christ when I came home, it gave me at least a hint of what Jesus pain must have been like, although I think its a bit excessive, but anyway...
One person partook btw.
