  Did your congregation rehearse service meeting parts?

  i was just thinking back to some parts i conducted.

  when other publishers were involved in the part, its success often depended on how well rehearsed the participants were.

  timing, proper interplay of dialogue, dramatic impact, etc.. as the one giving the part or as one drafted to do a demo, did your elders require rehearsals?.

  I always gave the old no.4 assignment preparing at arrival and putting just 10-20 lines and some texts in between, all the rest was improvising, but good improvising, they always praised my "preparation"

  after receiving a letter at my home calling me for a "judicial audience" after having quit 5 years ago the jw, i decided to go to the police and talk about the policy within jw.org: social abuse, judicial threats and in my case sexual abuses.. a national newspaper in spain www.elperiodico.es has decided to give visibility to this situation.

  I've been in love with a Jehovah Witness without knowing it for a long time, he hid it from everyone.

  hello :) so i know this guy for almost 6 years, i met him when i was 15 and i felt in love.

  now i’m 21 and he is 22. we were in the same class and got along very well and he seemed to like me too.

  when i confessed, face to face he haven't admitted and he haven't denied it and he acted like he liked me too but couldn't be with me because reasons bigger than him, but i was too young to understand and he was young to handle the pressure he had.

  I was that boy, i got out but she didnt wait for me to clarify my internal struggle, and our relation were VERY DAMAGED ... now in happy with my non believer gf but it's not her, maybe she was a big factor in getting out of the cult along my parent's divorce... But it costed me a lot emotionally to handle that difficult relationship with my ex... In somehow grateful to her (And my gf now knows that I'm out partially because of her, my ex)

  Simonsays... I clearly remember that I HAD TO RISE THE FLAG on september 17th night at the hall some years ago, it's a thing that it's done across our country to comply with the law, so, unless I'm being delusional all this IS REAL and I was part of it, I did it myself!!!!

  Hello everyone!

  yes, our law here in Chile demands that the flag should be displayed the days 18 and 19th september, our national and military's day respectively...

  I started in a low income area congregation as a child, and we always displayed the flag, this year I went on september 19th to check for the flag in my mom's last congregation's hall that is in a upper middle class neighbourhood, and to my disappointment it were no flag!

  I did not continue in the search of flags because I had to meet my girlfriend to continue celebrating with more BBQ, pebre, empanadas and terremoto drink!!!

  I believe more upper class congregations are more open to pay the fine, and poorer congregations don't risk to be fined and prefer to obey ceasar's rules instead!

  Anyway, in recent years inspections in regard of the flags have become something rare, and the law application has been relaxed a little.

  I'm very disappointed that I couldn't get some pictures for you, but the celebration was good and I have to go on!!! Cheers, and viva Chile !!!

  Interfaith relations

  so as i recall from my years of bible studies and countless meetings, jws teach that jehovah does not accept interfaith relationships.

  the idea of sharing on a prayer for world peace with other religions, as i was told, was not acceptable in the eyes of jehovah.

  now i am not here to say that now they are sharing in the way above mentioned, but certainly it seems like the wt has no issues in sharing their propaganda along with other religions and under the "pretense" that they mingle with the other religions of babylon the great.

  Oh boy i learned the hard way how difficult is to have a non-JW girlfriend, specially a catholic one, with VERY active and church-oriented parents!!!
