my impression is that most ambitious youngster in the org dream of being involved with the building program.
maybe they had a rock solid investment in one of their hedge funds that went sour, maybe something like ...
what if the society know it only has to lose one big case to lose a whole set of cases on precedent of the first case?.
this means they will lose millions of dollars in lawsuits and settlements.
which means their financial stability is under threat.
when one connects the dots it's very intriguing.

Searcher that is a little too simplistic, I find it hard to fathom they would give that info to a caller over the phone!.
as i've mentioned from time to time, i'm a retired accountant.
i have tried many times to come up with some logical, sound business reason why the wtbs has made the big changes in its financial arrangements: taking the congregations savings, the monthly donations per congregation etc.
i finally came up with the answer.. the leadership of the watchtower society is batshit crazy.
Gambling donations in money markets Hedge funds and loosing.
