JoinedI was baptized more than 10 years ago. But for the last couple of years I felt like something wasn't right. I didn't know exactly if maybe it was I who understood things the wrong way, or if it was something wrong with the religion. I prayed to God to show me what I didn't get right or to show me what was not ok with the org. A day or two later I discovered this quote in the watchtower library: *** ws chap. 1 pp. 10-11 par. 16 The Desire for Peace and Security Worldwide *** "the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members. This spiritual nation is like a little flock of Jehovah’s sheeplike ones." I started to research other opinions on bible texts that bothered me, and I also researched things about the organisation. Soon I was convinced there's no way this is the "only" channel of communication between God and people nowadays. I don't believe God has an organization on Earth now. His Church is made of all true christians who believe, no matter the denomination. God deals with individuals not with organizations. I think He reveals to some people some of the things that are difficult to understand in the Bible, but he does so individually. Organisations can't have holy spirit, people can. I also believe there is one hope for all christians and one spirit - so all true christians are anointed. From the doctrinal point of view my believes have some common points with the people who publish the websites listed below. I don't agree with everything on those sites, But I am happy that there are people / groups that try to understand what the Bible really says and make it public. I believe there are many independent small christian groups who are much closer to the truth than the wt org . And they are not totalitarians who demand from you to only believe what they do, nor do they interdict bible research. However, I am not affiliated to any of them, I just read their research. http://www.focusonthekingdom.org/ http://lhim.org/blog/ http://www.biblicaltruthseekers.co.uk/ http://www.truthortradition.com/ http://www.biblicalunitarian.com/ http://21stcr.org/ http://thebibleunitarian.org/ I am sure there are more out there. One last word - please don't lose your faith in God because of the wt org. Don't give them that power over your life, they are not worth it.
