  DataDog: It's subjective for sure. Science can't even explain how humans pick up certain subtleties of human behavior. Is it a survival instinct?
  Sometimes we get a "gut feeling" about someone, or a situation. What's going on? Are we analyzing data on a subconscious level?

  It is the right brain functioning that is responsible for detecting these subtleties of behaviour.

  The right side of our brain is responsible for pattern recognition. It stores all the information on patterning and while we are looking at a person's face, it is frantically checking expressions against all its stored knowledge of recognizable patterns. When something is 'off' the right side of our brain knows it and sends out a signal to the left side of the brain.

  But the problem is that the right side of the brain doesn't have language. It has no words. No way of communicating in the left side rational language system. So it does what it can. It makes our stomachs queasy, it makes our hearts flip. Sublte and sometimes not so subtle body reactions.

  Those are those 'intuitions', the feelings that we have and so often ignore, choosing decisons based on our preferred 'rational' side of the logical left brain.

  People with well-connected corpus callusum and balanced brain fuctioning are usually better at reading and interpreting those right brain pattern recognition signals that are always operating below the consciousness.

  Yes, we are analyzing data at a subconscious level. All the time. With the right side of our brains.

  Reduce the size of your family!

  the watchtower organization resists the idea that its workforce is comprised of employees.

  instead it promotes the idea that these individuals comprise a family.

  yet recently there is a directive that smacks a totalitarian tendency.

  Marvin Shimler: I hadn't thought of mobs usage of "family" to depict the relationship of its workforce. From time to time a mob family does decide to reduce its size. It tends to get messy. I suppose it's another manifestation of the times. You know, "no natural affection" and all that stuff.

  The sweeps and reductions in size are always related to the biggest enemy that every organization faces - treason. Attack from within.

  Cutting 'family' size down is a reaction to paranoia. Battening down the hatches.

  ROKU Maybe damaging TVs

  using a roku may damage the color on tv sets.

  it appears to change the color phase to magenta.. has anyone else noticed this problem on their tvs while using a roku?

  TOTC: But what about the many older ones who have purchased a ROKU for their older television sets to watch JW tv and having their TVs damaged?

  Hopefully they will wise up and keep the donations they usually send in to the WTS and purchase a new TV instead.

  Maybe the GB will send out a letter blaming Satan for it. The JWs will see it as a "sign of the end".

  Bethel Layoffs In Australia Confirmed

  yes, last week the number of bethel layoffs was confirmed from 90 to 125. .

  and those going in thinking they may be there for some time have been told.

  that they may be there for two months rather than 3 years depending on .

  EndofMysteries: Virgochik, yup and if they dispute it then the legal proceedings can delay it by months.
  With that said, quite possibly those bethelites could be able to sue them as long as a statute of limitations hasn't passed!

  Not only that, but sometimes rental/tenancy disputes will delay eviction for as long as legal proceedings take. If a Bethel worker sucessfully filed a protest against being evicted, they may be able to "squat" at Bethel for quite some time.

  this is just to mention that the same is happening in germany as with other countries, bethel family being reduced by 25%, which means 250 persons, and all the rest of the stuff, laundry etc.. i do not have any special privileged information this is from a german website .

  the judge is set to hear arguments in a civil lawsuit by the attorney general's claiming that elders of a jehovah's witnesses congregation failed to report an unlawful sexual relationship between a woman and a 14-year-old boy, both of whom were congregation members.. state law requires any person, agency, organization or entity who knows or in good faith suspects that a child is being abused or neglected to call a 24-hour hotline.

  the law specifically states that the reporting requirements apply to health care workers and organizations, school employees, social workers, psychologists and law enforcement officials.. but a lawyer for the sussex county congregation is arguing that the elders are protected from the reporting requirements by clergy privilege, similar to the confidentiality of a church confessional.. .

  What the WTS tells their followers and what they claim on their legal documents are two entirely different things.
