God is Real in Principle
by looter innow the majority of people nowadays do no go by the hope of old times.
now the reason for this is important and goes beyond mere words.
our culture sees ethics especially national or civil politics as the rules and standards by which we guide ourselves.

cofty: Outlaw go ask your imaginary professor, who spends his leisure time criticising my writing, about the difference between a "blue background" and a "blue back round".
I know this one, Cofty! Can I answer it, please, please? *waving hand frantically and sitting tall in my desk...squirmin'
I gonna...I'ma gonna do it
the answer is...

looter: That's disrespectful calling me elderly
No, it wasn't disrespectful. It was a reason. It was a respectful way of offering an explanation for why you would have limited computer skills. It was far more respectful than calling you incompetent.
"Elderly", in my books, has nothing at all to do with incompetence/competence - it only denotes a certain generation that didn't have the privilege of learning computer skills.
you should be ashamed
I have nothing to be ashamed about. I am not the one who has been deceptive
The assigning of shame to someone you want to discipline is a tactic that was commonly employed by older generations to control their children. My granny did it all the time and she passed on the practice to my mother. That is another reason why your age is so transparent

looter: OrphanCrow, people will believe what they want to believe at the end of the day. That's disrespectful calling me elderly and you should be ashamed. Even if I was an older man that doesn't give you the right to discriminate me like that.
Right on cue
I have been chastised

Landy: Pretty sure he's on a wind up ....
I am thinking that "looter" isn't an 18 year old boy at all. He is starting to come across as an elderly JW guy. His notion that a Mac computer will fix all his deficiencies would have come from the KH. It sounds like he wants an ipad just like all his buddies there

looter: "Highlight the words you want quoted.. 3)..Click the Quote Button.." Got it. Appreciate your help, OUTLAW, but when I click the quote button, absolutely nothing happens.
simple question: where are the words you are highlighting? Are they inside the "Have Your Say" box?

And, to add to Outlaw's help....make sure that the words you want to appear in a quote box are FIRST in the "Have Your Say" box...and then proceed with Outlaw's instructions

looter:...I see the button but it does nothing
I recognize your claim that you "see" things differently than others, however, in this case, a little bit of action by you is required. It takes more than just "seeing".
You have to highlight the text you want to quote FIRST, then "see" that little button...and THEN you have to click on that button. The button won't do anything all by itself. It isn't a 'god' button.
However, make sure that you have your cursor in a new line when you use the quote function...otherwise you won't be able to get out of the quote box, when it appears, to be able to type your reply.
