Well. I'm disappointed.

i saw this on reddit:.

overall the numbers are better than last year (1.8% growth compared to 1.5% last year -- as i predicted ;-) ) with an increase in all major figures including 1300 more congregations (i assume this is not physical kingdom halls?).

i was going through some research i had done a few years ago and came across something that referenced rojw healthcare support and a note to myself to take a look at rojw when i had the time.
so i did a search for rojw (an acronym for religious order of jehovah's witnesses).. the search turned up some interesting bits of information.. according to dun & bradstreet, rojw was founded in 2011:.
since 2011, rojw has been providing nonclassifiable establishments from wallkill.. for a list of persons who have worked for rojw:.
You could very well be right, Richard. I was only sharing what is available online. If, indeed, those salary figures are simply estimates of what those positions should pay, then it is still interesting information.
*to add:
I know for a certainty, at least in the US, no member of the order receives anymore money than the usual allowance.
Do you also know for a certainty that ROJW does not hire and pay professionals for certain administrative or medical positions, etc?

For a list of persons who have worked for ROJW:

Some of the people listed above have worked for ROJW since 1999 (the year that the Religious Order of Jehovah's Witnesses was established)
Several of the positions that are listed are professional and it appears, according to this website, that these are paid positions:
The average Base Salary for rojw is $89K per year, ranging from $74.5K to $104K.
It appears as though there are several paid positions within the ROJW. This is not unusual for a non-profit. It is entirely acceptable to pay people who work for non-profits. Not everyone who works for the WTS is a volunteer.
But, if you are a volunteer for ROJW, there are resources available for training through linkedin:
https://www.linkedin.com/title/volunteer-at-rojw
Note the courses available:
Social Media for Non-Profits
Public Speaking Fundamentals
How to Rock Social Media
Information Literacy
Grant Writing for Education
etc...
ROJW also has a clinical lab registered:
https://www.wadsworth.org/regulatory/clep/limited-service-labs/p523-0000
I found a fellow that works for ROJW Health Care Support who is a Referral Champion:
Referral Champions are members who have referred 10 or more colleagues to QuantiaMD. The more colleagues you refer, the more you earn.
If you love QuantiaMD and tell a fellow clinician, you can become a Referral Champion too, and earn Q-Points for doing so

Coordinator, Health Care Support, ROJW
Another ROJW enterprise is this one:
ROJW Interior Designers & Decorators

I am not sure what the deal is with the above business, but Brother Hector sports a nice little blue lapel pin and a big smile.

breakfastofchampions: Looks like 0% growth for the USA. I believe this is a first!
The org took a hit in two years following the '75 fiasco
The USA saw a 3% decrease in 1977 and another 3% decrease in 1978

i have just received a text from an elder i've known for decades in my circuit who has some sympathy for my feelings and who is aware of the arc, the uk charity commission, etc., etc.
here it is verbatim, and my reply.
richard: Just admit that no matter what Watchtower does, even if every expert and government in the world agree that their policy protects children you wouldn't be satisfied.
No
I do not allow other people to decide for me what to say, do, or think.
Stop telling me what to "admit"
You are in no position to make that kind of judgement about me or to tell me what to do

The ARC knows that they don't have the authority to make a change like you are bringing up.
So what's your point in asking the same question over and over again?

You keep asking the same question, Richard. The question is rhetorical. But I will give a response anyways.
The ARC will not accept this policy because it fails to address one of the primary concerns that was raised by the commission: there are no women involved in the judicial process.
That is going to be a big problem for the org and one that will preclude these policies being accepted as sufficient.
Regardless, the "if" in your query is just that, Richard...it is just an "if".
So...IF the bear hadn't stopped to take a shit in the bush...would he have caught the rabbit?
i just ran across it on abc.

need someone to correct the article to let the readers know "it's not a church,.. it's a kingdom hall!!".
please share and comment on their fb page to get some info out there.

notjustyet: Need someone to correct the article to let the readers know "It's not a church,.. it's a Kingdom Hall!!"
Nah. It doesn't need correcting. It is the JWs who need correcting. The rest of the world knows that it is a church - it is only the JWs who don't get it.
The rest of the world does not need to be educated in JWspeak. If it was called a Kingdom Hall, it would just confuse people.
dates (ad) of events once taught by watchtower as significant but no longer supported since nothing happened.. .
"but bear in mind that the end of 1914 is not the date for the beginning, but for the end of the time of trouble.
zion's watch tower 1894 jul 15 p.226 incredibly, today’s jw’s dishonestly prefer to rewrite history, claiming "jehovah's witnesses pointed to the year 1914, decades in advance, as marking the start of "the conclusion of the system of things.
Good lists...and, wasn't there a trumpet blast in 1919 as well?
Not prophesied, but claimed later.
