  Okay, WonderofYou, I had a bit of time to put some stuff together about the "Laura and Lorenz Riebling Family Foundation" (I smell another Reibling installment....)

  Firstly, your title is a bit misleading - the foundation is not "starting". It has been around since 2006.

  I downloaded the information from the 990 forms for the "Laura and Lorenz Riebling Family Foundation" and I will condense the activity that has occurred with the foundation since 2004/5.

  Met JWs today - they lied about who they were

  so a couple came into the library where i work today and the woman said she was from the british sign language association and asked if i would display a leaflet for her.

  when she handed me the leaflet the jw website logo jumped out at me as did the words 'would you like to study the bible with jehovah's witnesses?

  ' there was a small picture that had someone conversing in sign language but the other pictures were typical jw leaflet pictures.

  In the Submissions on behalf ofWatchtower Bible and Tract Societyof Australia & Others9 November 2015, this statement was made (pg 15):

  Child sexual abuse is a matter of concern to any right thinking parent or adult, and to see it only as an “institutional” problem would be to miss an essential truth: that much abuse occurs within families.

  The Commission responded with this in Report of Case Study No. 29 October 2106 (pg 8):

  A key submission made on behalf of the Watchtower & Ors was that:

  
  Familial child sexual abuse is not institutional sexual abuse, as has been acknowledged by the Commission. Similarly it is self-evident that when child sexual abuse occurs outside ‘institutional’ contexts as defined, the response to it does not fall within the Terms of Reference of this Commission.

  
  The Commission proceeds on the basis that when an allegation of familial sexual abuse becomes known to an elder and is subsequently Scripturally investigated by congregation elders, it ceases to be familial abuse and becomes institutional abuse. This conflation of familial and institutional sexual abuse does not accord with the Terms of Reference.

  The Reibling money is what goes into the research and promotion of PBM.

  So. Let me get this straight.

  The WTS submitted a response to the ARC that claimed that they shouldn't be included in Australia's investigation into institutional abuse because...most of the JW cases were familial.

  On one hand, the WTS says that child sex abuse in their congregations is familial, and then they turn around and tell parents to train their children to be alert to predators outside the family circle.

  And on top of that...the WTS seems to think that a child can dress provocatively.

  The guys in the Tower are clueless. They are idiots. They have told so many lies and made so many slimy moves that they don't know which end is up anymore.

  kazakhstan is a landlocked country in central asia that shares borders with russia, china, kyrgyzstan, uzbekistan, and turkmenistan, and also adjoins a large part of the caspian sea.. kazakhstan is 70% muslim.

  some things of note here, it looks to me that they're encouraging young ones to befriend older people and "people not like them".

  Encouraging children to "make friends" with adults? WTF is that?

  Adults are preferred friends for children? Children should be encouraged to socialize with age appropriate friends. Telling children to seek out adults to make friends with is just so wrong on so many levels.

  No wonder the JWs have a problem understanding what child abuse even is when they are told to encourage the kind of behavior that puts a child at risk.
