  This is typical. The response reveals their ignorant attitude to those who aren't part of their special elite group of JWs.

  They don't give a rat's ass about anyone's rights except their own.

  The law as it existed in Finland discriminated against everybody else's rights because the JWs were getting concessions that were denied to others.

  JWs have a myopic view of the world - it is them and then all the others who belong to the bird food class.

  *edit to add: it is more likely that the org is getting on the bandwagon and joining all the institutions and corporate structures in Canada in laying down guidelines for the use of legal marijuana. October 17th is fast approaching. I betcha the Canadian branch has been asking for "direction" on how to handle legal recreational herb. Seein' as recreational booze is okey dokey for JWs

  Cofty, can you adjust those numbers to account for the differences in the number of games played?

  Men play more games (in major tournaments). Just posting the numbers of violations without accounting for a comparison of the number of games played gives a skewed reading.

  Amway is a big hitter in the cult department. And it is heavily loaded with born again Christian rhetoric

  My brother and his wife were heavily involved years ago and they both were impossible to be around at the time. They spent all their money and holidays traveling to the Amway conventions and would return with glazed eyes and talking about God DeVos. And stacks of "motivational" cassettes they would play in the car instead of listening to the radio like normal people do.

  today i returned to check a 'gossip' that is running around in brazilian exjw forums.. they are stating that is almost certain they will make a big change in their doctrine maybe this year yet in the annual meeting.

  Watchtower Corporation Hacked By It's Own IT Department

  it's hard for me to think that the watchtower it department must be fully aware of wt duplicity as in they are experts in using the internet and are fully aware of what the internet is saying about their boss.. so why not hack them and make more public their utter bullshit in a humanitarian concern expressed by what ever powers he has to reduce guilt.. as the reputation of the watchtower goes south and more dirt is revealed the more likely it is for those in position of trust like watchtower it department to be forced into a very precarious position of helping a bunch of frauds and so why should it be of any surprise that some type of corrective vengeance is planed by many members of the it..

  That is the most likely place that the pedo files are kept

  And that is why the elders are instructed to immediately call the legal department for advice when they are faced with an abuse allegation: they are lawyering up and as such, all info that is passed is confidential
