a jw made the claim "no christian [jw] has ever murdered anyone".. when i showed examples of such, the goalposts moved a bit with "was he a baptized, dedicated witness?".
can anyone provide examples of murders committed by "baptized, dedicated" jws?.

jehovers witness parents did a runner without telling the medical staff caring for their seriously ill child and took him to receive proton therapy in praque as this treatment was not available in the u.k.. first most importantly the good news, the boy was declared cancer free last march.. anyway i am sure at the time this issue would have created a lot of heated debate on the forum, as it was a case that created a media frenzy, with the parents and their jehovers witness religious beliefs being heavily critizised .
however as i followed the case i couldn't help but admire the parents, as i felt they would have acted indepentedly of both the jehovers witness organisation and the u.k medical advice, having in my opinion seriously thought the matter through, and then doing they thought was the best way for treatment.. so if you remember the case my questions are:-.

I think there is more going on to the story than we are told in the media. I think that the King's decision was affected by the WT's preferred medical procedures and was pushed to them by their HLC as the avenue to pursue.

What is odd is that the Stoops website seems to be operational - which violates the directive from the State of Missouri that states they cannot carry on business.
Who is running Stoops since it was dissolved and how can they legally still carry on business?

I know that there are some articles written by an RN that have looked at how to educate nurses on how to give access of medical information to pregnant JW women about their health care options. Basically - an education for nurses and how to optimize the health choices for pregnant JW women - the most vulnerable group of the noblood doctrine. And, the results of how many JW women actually chose blood over noblood options.
I will have to look for it...if someone knows what I am talking about - please post. The articles are quite good.

Azor, there are some good resources available for you and you have identified an area where there is a real need.
Contrary to what some think (no offense...), most medical professionals, doctors included, have little experience in dealing with the ethics around the blood transfusion ban. Many doctors rarely encounter JWs in their regular practice. And, they are not aware of all the recent intricacies of the WT's blood gymnastics doctrines. and...for that matter, a lot of JWs themselves don't understand the "new blood" stances, as they shift and change in response to demands of the marketplace.
Once a JW steps outside of the "blood management" network, there is a definite need to educate regular professionals, the ones not trained with WT influence, about the WT blood doctrines and such.
There has been published articles in ethics journals and medical journals about this subject, Azor, by doctors and nurses, directed towards the education of medical professionals about the treatment of JWs. Of course, there is an overabundance of such articles that have been published by blood management "experts" (aka - WT trained) but there is also material that is more objective and aimed at those not inside that bloodless network.

Does anyone know anything about Stoops? Their website appears to still be functional, with new products released in 2016, yet they are not to be conducting business as of September 2015, according to the above information.
the netherlands has recognized the church of the flying spagetti monster as an official religion !!.
i am so tempted to join it openly, and see what the reaction of the jw's is, surely they should df me for joining another religion?.
but how silly would that make them look !
