I walked away from my last District Convention on July 3, 2011 after 42 years as a witness. I was raised in from age nine. My husband was raised in from age five, but left the organization 30 years before I did. Both of our born-in children have left as well. I simply was unwilling to shun my son when he was disfellowshipped and had many doctrinal issues as well.
