  Challenged to a drag race...

  well, this weekend, i went on an outing with the wife to see the sights.

  we went up to austin, georgetown, and then across to lampassas - where i filled up with fuel at a local station.. on the way to the hotel we were staying at, a pimple-faced kid in a honda pulls up alongside me, and gives me this 'staredown' look.

  very serious this kiddo.

  Evidently Larry Graham, (Sly Stones bassist), put some work into the sex dwarf and he joined the JW ranks.
  
  Of course, if your average dub remained half as freaky as Prince he'd be at a JC every night!

  If I remember right.. they actually they got him during a vulnerable time... his wife (then girlfriend) had just had a miscarriage.. the dubs got to them talking about death, etc... at first she came to the meetings.. eventually he started to come too.. when it was over and she wanted to mingle.. he'd go out into the limo and wait for her..

  eventually he was completely sucked him

  I used to hear reports out of that hall about him when I lived in MN and was still a dub

  my online friend who was baptized at 12 years old has finally decided she couldn't make it as a jw anymore.

  with 2 dfs and major depression under her belt, no longer will she be living her life for the elders.

  until armageddon comes" since she's a goner anyway (serving jehovah with wrong motivation, not out of love).. her father recently died, .

  she actually came out in defense of michael vick.

  she said in some parts of the south dog fights are common so we must understand where he's comming from.. well, in some parts of the south people discriminate against african americans.

  are we supposed to excuse them, understand them?

  I get off saying it because I live in the south, and have had to work beside the redneckiest of the rednecky. I admit I was generalizing awfully bad, but still hunting for SPORT is very acceptable and looked upon in a positive light. Killing for sport with a gun is no different then letting a dog kill another dog. Or electrocuting it or drowning it. It's still KILLING for SPORT. Just watch the latest edition of Real Sports, though it is across the US it is most popular here in the south.

  that is true.. look at big game hunters, who do not eat the animal.. it is just for sport..

  no one puts you in jail for that...

  i think dating an ex-witness is a great idea. no one else can understand what we've been through. that common ground goes a long way.

  exactly..

  although I've had a couple interested in me in the past and one actually asked me if I would think about going back.. not because he believed.. but for his family..

  what happens if you date an exJW.. get serious with them.. perhaps even marry and then one of them wants to go back..

  that would be a nightmare.

  I Believe She's Trying to Get me Disfellowshipped!

  i've tried to be nice about it, perhaps i'm just a little too nice when dealing with her.

  ok, my ex-fiancee started blowing up my phone again and leaving voicemails.

  i considered changing my number weeks ago but changed my mind when her calls stopped but i might need to consider it now.

  I'm sorry but I have to strongly disagree with that. Any kind action like that is just like adding fuel to a fire and will only make it worst.

  I agree... she doesn't need that kind of attention.. it will compound the issue..

  I'd stay clear of her..

  and I'd *57 any calls she makes to you..
