You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

i thought i would let you know that my dad, passed away a little while ago, tonight, january 23. they called me at 6pm to tell me.
he had been failing rapidly for the past month, and had completely lost his hearing and was totally blind.
the dementia was extreme too, and he still knew me on thursday, but didn't wake up to know me in the following days.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

how to become a cult leader video:.

is there any doubt?.
It's scary how close that was to the JWs. It's even scarier that most of us could have wore those tacky blue shirts.
CountryGuy
ok, what's your junk food addiction?.
is it chips, doritos, taco bell or mcds?.
i'm polishing off a bag of doritos as i write this and wondered what other people chow on.... meagan

first let me start off by saying i am very sick myself right now.
i have a virus that settled in my nerves (very very painful and no it isn't herpes), and now two weeks in i caught a very bad upper respiritory bronchities.
i spent my day in bed as i have been for most of two weeks now with no end in sight (dammit).. not trying for sympathy points, but this just isn't a good time for this!.
Sherry, I hope you and your dad are much better very soon.

some of us are addicted or simply curious or have been referred to, to see what these boards are all about.
even when people say that they're done, they're never coming back, they reappear......what's wrong with us?
I come here because no matter how much our loved ones try, unless they went through it... they can't understand it.
You guys know what it's like. You understand where I'm coming from and I understand where you're coming from. It's nice to know that someone else has your back.
CountryGuy
just curious as i had never really been a true jehovah witness.
i would think that you make friends and suddenly you don't exist.
i would think a board like this is a true godsend.
It sucks.
And, to me, the thing that sucks the most is you never know how it's going to hit you. Most of the time, no problem. But, there have been a couple of times that it tore my heart out. I think when it hurts the most is when you can tell that it's hurting your friend as well. And, yes, I'm going to call them a friend, because if they didn't still care for you, then you wouldn't see the hurt in their eyes. Sadly, they still believe that what they are doing is what is wanted by God. So, then you feel crappy about the shunning, but even worse because you know that your friend is still stuck on the inside. And, the only reason that they won't talk to you are because of some old guys in Brooklyn.
As for the people you didn't care about to begin with, eh, whatever. I think I'm going to try Avi's suggestion and sneak up on them and shout "Boo!" then watch them fall over themselves to get away from you.
CountryGuy
let me preface this by saying that i in now way mean to insult to the deaf/mute community by comparing them to leaders of a very prevalent cult, the jehovah's witnesses.
you see, in the service meeting last night, there was a talk based on an article in the january 2006 our kingdom ministry entitled "young ones: shining as illuminaters".
the brother who gave this part is my book study overseer, and a member of the "richie taskforce", i.e.
Hey Richie,
What is that wrapped around your little finger? Oh, I see. It's your local body of elders!
Good job!
