well, the switchover happened - there were a couple of things i had to fix which meant the posting was disabled for longer than i planned but it's now enabled and some people have already posted.. if you have any questions about the new format or suggestions on how to improve it, please post them here.. if you are having trouble signing in or posting then you'll need to email me instead.. many thanks to everyone for their patience during the changeover !.

Public Speaker Training stifled by wt, it's new 'school' programme.

the 2015 school setup, discussed this week eliminates the last "school talk" by brothers in favour of 'demonstartions" (a la sisters conversations) of family worship sessions and the like.. is this not a shift away from encouraging bright young ones to hone their (under-estimated) speaker skills ---to.

now using more of the die-hard, org-bound, --even elders in indoctrination demonstrations?.

do you see this trend?

you really showed them how concerned you were about your sheep.

I totally understand how you feel. Im not even a fader, im getting this same treatment. Im just a brother who the hounders ostracized for not towing the company line. One moment you are the rising star..the next minute you learn TTATT...stop obeying man-made laws, and you are shunned by 40% of the congregation.

christians, should i attend kingdom hall meetings to discreetly "preach" to jws about the real jesus and the lies of the watchtower?.

.

i plan to go undercover and plant seeds into them.. .

@crytojesus....yes. Due to my personal circumstances....I still attend the meetings....an I am somewhat active.

Yes. Those are the last two questions read off right before the actual immersion. But we all know: God's spirit is not with that organazation.

They baptize in the name of The Father, The Son, and "God's SPIRIT DIRECTED ORGANAZATION".

So no, they don't follow Matthew 28:19,20.

No. These people still believe they will be saved through works. (seriously, a sister gave this comment recently at my hall) Do what you want, but be careful. IMO it will be a waste of energy, and you will leave saddened.

i'm still on an old mailing list and got this recently "encouraging" me to make the pilgrimmage to mecca...i mean...bethel.

kinda sad really.

i have nothing against the people who run the business, they're just trying to make a buck, but i'm soooo glad i'm out of that boring cult.. did you see the governing body's invitation?

Yea, the GB guilt you into coming...the brothers try to make a buck taking you to Mecca. Not as obscene as the brothers who sell MLM scams at the hall but, egh.

Watchtower® and their education

ok. i'm a brit as some of you know.. what i noticed with the wbt$ is how they only seem to write from an american cultural standpoint.

not a bad thing if you're one of my cousins form the usa i admit........ but.... here in the uk there are some things that are meaningless to us.. eg hazing.

this was warned about in a study and over here we had no idea what it was and it kind of alienated the congregation from the study.

The best way to debate JW's without being labeled an apostate

hey guys!

here's what i found to be the best way (for me at least) to debate jw's without earning the laber of apostate.

this is mostly valid when debating jw's that don't know you personally, but it could help with those that do too.
