She does, kinda. I have been increasingly critical of the man-made rules. I have bragged about the benefits I experience from college, and have emphasized how 'priviledges' in the congregation are a poor measure of "spiritual maturity/progress". I have compared the insitance on being clean-shaven to the circumcision issue. Im convinced that Jah is not offended by the creation! I haven't underlined "studied" for any of the boasting sessions, and I have limited commenting (if the elders call on me) to the bible highlights or reading a scripture. Underlining answers in a magazine isn't studying! More than that, I've often caught my mother "studying" the WT without looking up the cited scriptures! Context is key, but the asleep just dont get it! I pray for them to wake up!

I love you very much. I'm sorry for the added pain I must be causing you. Please forgive me. I will step back and see how the end turns out. I am a little disappointed with your outspokenness and strongwilled attititude that is not to your advantage in this case or any like it where you are not the authority or holding the controling factor. I see trouble you don't or don't care about or don't believe exist. Nonetheless, it's your life and you are relieved to live it your way. [END OF LETTER]
I particapated in "No shave November". I grew a goat-tee, and the hounders refused to grant me back 'priviledges' because I didn't shave for a month.

Its shameful, people are so swift to judge when very few were actually present for the event. Stories have been sensationalized, experiences ignored, racist who jump at the opportunity to vent frustration....its one big mess, a misrepresentation of the black race, and true nightmare I wish would go away.

@Flipper, Ive always appreciated your encouragement, and I will make a legit effort to get a good feel for the Hassan's work. Im also noticing fallacies and tactics in ways like never before. For example: not allowing certain brothers "priviledges" for not fitting into the mold of WTS....and not due to some scriptural issue....just this brother isn't an exemplary JW....dont use em' and thus he will be ashamed, etc.

JW Friend was Married this Weekend. Tutto รจ bene che riesce bene.
by objectivetruth ina close jw friend of mine, got married this weekend.ever since he and i meet (13 years ago) when we were both 18 we've been close and we've experienced different life experiences together.. our qualities, have complemented each other well over the years..he the voice of responsibility and reservedness, & i the voice of spontaneity and passion.i taught him about life and he taught me about perseverance through trial.. i care about justice, he cares about reputation.he is a better person then i will ever be, but so stricken by society.. i always stuck my neck out for him, but our friendship was the thorn in his reputations side.he was on the path to mts, and i was on the path of frivolity.despite all this.. when the 2 of us were together, free from the scrutiny of the outside world he was himself, and he was a great friend.
though naive about much, he always tried to do what he could to be a friend.. i was there when he and his now wife first started dating.. i envisioned him marrying her, and my wife & i spending many enjoyable times with them as a couple.. shortly after they meet my wife & i learned ttatt.. i explained my findings to him as i did with all my friends and family.
he being a person, whom i perceived to have great deal of biblical knowledge, i expected valiant effort coming from him to "help me" see where i had erred.all i got was a email with 3 irrelevant watchtower articles & some even more irrelevant scriptures.. i would have surely been his best man, but instead another mutual jw friend was asked.i am not da'd or df'd but this is the pseudo non-invitation that he sent :.

He's the loser bro......give it a few years. And dont feel bad, before I even learned TTATT I was assisting the accounts servant.....we were pretty close ( I THOUGHT). One day I find out he is getting married......2 weeks before the wedding. So much for friendship. In the borg. THERE ARE NO FRIENDS.
