Wing Commander...Amen! I agree, once the monies start to dry up they WILL set up tithing. It's funny, years ago (probably over 30 yrs) I told my husband if they ever started begging for money I was outta here. Wow...how ironic, they are steadily begging for money and I'm "outta here!"

Pretty much the entire broadcast is asking for money (giving of your valuable things) and giving volunteer time. It's funny...when we needed assistance (not money, just simple love and encouragement would have been nice) during a difficult time, all we got was "trust in Jehovah." Seems like the tables have turned. Why don't they "trust in Jehovah?" After all they are his earthly representatives. Shouldn't he help them out? Things that make you go...Hmmm!
I love the hooky song at the end, reminds me of the Mormons.
All take and no give in this cult. How are they different that Christendom? Always begging for your money.

Ole Rubber face is creepy.
We should be happified. If they were getting enough donations and getting enough volunteers they would not have to do that broadcast.
A lot of people are scratching their heads and it's showing in their lack of donations and volunteering.
I guess Old Anthony the third should not have insulted the rank and file at the zone meeting. I think it pissed a lot of people off. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar!

Think about that statement....so we are supposed to put our confidence in men who are only available? Whoa. I have been hearing all my life that these are imperfect men. Well, yes they are imperfect but according to what we have been told they are chosen by holy spirit. I don't buy it anymore (not sure I ever did). I would NEVER trust ANY of these "men" with any intimate details of my personal life. I will take my chances on figuring things out myself without giving these henchmen any rope to hang me with.
I agree with the above comments. Why do you want to go back? With all due respect, I don't see the attraction.

My sons first talk

i have been da for 2 years, divorced, ex and my son live 6 hours away near walkill ny.. my sons first talk is coming up, in august.
he is 7 years old.

He has good intentions and he should feel the comfort and opportunity to open up. Unfortunately, they will "eliminate him" if he gives his name, congregation, etc. I agree with one poster, they eliminated Ray Franz. They DO NOT want thinkers in this cult, just conformers.
I kuddo him for trying. I am a open honest and candid person but I will not allow these idiots the pleasure to usurp any power over me or my family. They had enough (not much) power over us, all of our lives, I will not allow them any more than that.
