A sincere message to those from the organisation monitoring my posts....
by stuckinarut2 inso, i know there are some from my congregation or from bethel who monitor my posts..... maybe you're looking for something to catch me out?.
just a question: rather than trying to find fault with me, have you stopped and looked into the issues or facts about the organisation that caused me to come to a place like this forum??.
facts are there for anyone to find nowadays....one just has to be willing to pull their head out of the sand.....

I think it's a sad state of affairs that some JW's have enough time on their hands to "hunt down" others. -

We are so sad. The Eagles were our favorite group. We had the pleasure to attend their last concert tour 2 years ago. They were awesome!
Glen was pure talent.

Conclusion
by Esmeralda001 ini decided to put an end to my affiliation with the jws for good.
this decision is not the result of an irrational impulse.
it is quite the contrary.

Move on,it's the best decision you could make in your lifetime.

You did not hit a nerve at all. I think your post is wonderfully honest. You are discovering a ton of information at once. It's tough at first. It is overwhelming.
This organization is a all or nothing organization. If you can't give your all, you are not worthy. You can NEVER do enough.
Know that we are all here for you and keep writing, it is great therapy.

A possible reason why the GB are becoming more demanding as things worsen
by Listener inbasically because they feel they are not being blessed.. this is not to say that all gb members feel this way.
the power hungry ones love getting the whip out.
the other members incorrectly look to the old testament for answers.. they are telling the sheep to be faithful, dedicated, self sacrificing, serving to the fullest, whole hearted and obedient.

The GB and this organization is loosing it's credibility. I think once they took the generation teaching and came up with the preposterous teaching of overlapping generation, the scales started falling off. People are scratching their heads. The crazy Anthony Morris zone talk also pissed so many off. They (GB) are shooting themselves in the foot, they are doing it to themselves. It's a pleasure to watch.
Now every time there is a new JW broadcast they talk about $. Many are thinking...WTF!

"A lot of the spiritual friends we had view us as questionable association so we don’t get invited much to anything, but it plays well in our fade."
We felt this as well. My spouse never felt the urge or need to reach out for a position. Something always held him back. Now we know what that was.
It amazes us how, even though we are great people to be around we never hit that "spiritual" status or mark.
So be it, we'll enjoy each other and the special friendship we have with each other.
We enjoyed reading your story. It does mimic so many stories on here. We always felt that maybe it was us that felt the way we did but when we started reading peoples experiences on this forum we realized it was not only us.
Keep posting, it really helps. We are enjoying reading your experience.

Jw style encouragement - Return or perish....
by Tornintwo ini haven't been able to post much recently, just started a new job with long hours... but i'm thinking of you all and drop in when i can.
anyway i've been meaning to tell you about this because thought it would tickle some of you.... 5 months after my last meeting, i've just had two "kind and loving" 'come back' messages/cards from different people both using the same days text from dec. 31st which says: .
"it is not a desirable thing with my father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish" matt 18:14. jehovah cares deeply about all those who have expressed love for his name, even if they are not actively serving him at present.

New here
by MarkofCane inhello and thanks to everyone for participating on this forum it has really been of much value, for those of you that post here know that your words are not lost you never know who is reading your expressions, lives are being changed and nonsense challenged.
i’m not much of a writer so excuse my untrained writing style and grammar but i want to share my story to help anyone who is visiting here to see that we are real people, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have come here for answers, there is no agenda, just searching for truth.
i hope my story will help others as so many here have helped me..

Welcome
It is a sad, confusing and lonesome time in the beginning. It WLL get better.
Take it slow. One day at a time. Work through things slowly and do not talk to others about your doubts. This organization will hang you out to dry.
We are all here for you.

No more reporting time for field service!!!
by Khaleesi inso at last i am in my next step of my fade, this month is the first month i did not turned in any hours.
i received a text from our group leader an ms & i told him i didn't have any to report, then of course it got bumped up to the elder & i text him back i have no hours to report for december.
i came to this decision when reading many posters here about the yearbook stats, i do not want & refused to contribute to this organization "boosting" numbers for their glorious purposes, after the rc in australia they do not deserve for me to give them a "production" report of what i do for god, no more.

Even in the justice system you have Miranda rights. You have the right to remain silent. The Elders tell you a Judicial committee is not a legal hearing, therefore you can not have your Attorney present. So I have the right to remain silent in the justice system but not during a Judicial Committee or just a visit from the local Elders? I DON'T THINK SO!
We have had a couple of people (elders) stop by our home. We DON'T answer! They didn't call and were rude showing up unannounced. I don't fell rude not answering.
NO ONE knows how my spouse and I really feel. We talk to each other and keep our dealings with others up beat. "We are doing great. Never better!" We are hoping that we get DF'd so when our family asks why we can tell them. We don't know why. We have heard of cases where people get DF'd and they hear it through the grapevine. Anyone else experience this?
