just wanted to update you guys of the amazing couple of weeks i've had in recovering from the cult.. i was attending the meetings still just so i could see my daughter in the kingdom hall and have her sit we me half the time.
i had no intention of ever becoming a jw again but was hoping to be re-instated and just not turn up ever again so i could at least see my family.
but then an elder said something to me that changed all that.
"As JW's we have a loving family-like relationship which you're no longer a part of. "
Who says this to anyone? I would not even say this to an animal, much less another human being. I would have had a really hard time containing my response. Satan would have gotten a hold of me. lol
PE...continue to enjoy your life. JW's are a wart on the ass of humanity.

i remember a few years back being involved in the campaign work, and having the distinctly awkward experience of having to hand the householders this piece of sh1t tract "the end of false religion is near!"..
i recall the discomfort i had trying to get into a conversation about this nonsense.
For all of your JW friends and family concerned over this years "Bunker" video. Remind them of this very important tract work years ago. I remember everyone in our area was on edge...Stating this is Jehovah's final message! LOL Since this brochure was distributed, in our area alone, the local churches are expanding and growing. Turning small home town churches into Mega arenas.

two weeks ago while visiting a friend in north carolina, i agreed to go with him to the sunday public talk.
the public talk was about how the witnesses have the direction of angels while going in service.
the speaker told some real doozies and you could hear the "oohs and ahhs" from the audience.
Yes...we believe in miracles now. We also have a choir. An idol has been placed on our Kingdom Halls (JW. org signs) and there is dancing and singing at the Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls. Our parents are rolling over in their graves.

The GB need to stop placing a halo over the elders heads. The written material giving these guys a glorified presence. Examples are, stars, loving shepherds, a port in a storm. By placing such titles of glory on these "imperfect" men, it gives the congregation a false sense of security. It is drilled into the JW mind that these men are trustworthy. This is not always true and the congregation is horrified when they find out Brother so and so has molested a child or has been unfaithful to his wife.
I have NEVER in my entire JW life taken a problem to an Elder. I never trusted them. Some have more problems/faults than you do. I always equated to taking my finances to a qualified CPA. Why would I choose one who has filed bankruptcy?

I agree. Justice is coming and WT knows it is in trouble. Once I saw the Bunker video I knew that WT was setting this up. They want the rank and file to think the JW's are being persecuted. I spoke with a friend and the ones who watched this video at the assembly were truly frightened. You can just see it coming.

the biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..
