Is The Watchtower Corporation Facing A Meltdown Of Confidence Among Its Members?

looking at all the narcissistic bull shit the watchtower corporation has been spewing out for the world to see about suffering of its members to as nothing worth being very concerned about and as jehovah magnificent be vindicated is much more important.

have they really gone off their rocker enough for a very sizable portion of membership to see their insanity and jump ship?.

i think definitely they are losing all respect from their internet savy members as their madness becomes obvious.

I think their are a lot of JW's who, like I did, feel there is something not right in Watchtower land. We have several friends/family who just do the bare minimum or dial in to the meetings. The only thing they for sure attend is the memorial. They know something stinks (they have pretty much told us that) or they don't have any response(s) with some of the things we say (they know it's true and we get blank stares). It's a hard bridge to cross for them. We understand that, we have been there.

Watchtower is not going anywhere. They may decline in number and sell off Kingdom Halls but there are just too many who like the socialization and just bury their heads in the sand. Then there are the uber/special ones who have ALL the connections (the REAL Kool Aid drinkers). This is what will be running the cult eventually. The self righteous "special ones". These ones are the ones who will be running the show. They will eat each other alive like kids fighting over a toy. Too many chiefs. It is going to be interesting to watch! Grab your popcorn and enjoy the show!

LDC or Regional Building Committee?

so i saw on instagram from one of the major uber elders from everett wa posted a picture of where he was staying for the week long safety training the ldc was putting on.

well this "suite" had a full bar for one thing and everything else was quite fancy!

he was complaining about losing $$ for a week since he had to go to this training but the accommodations were wonderful.

Yes, it has happened in the past and will happen again. Happy and Spiritual UNTIL Watchtower has used you up and spit you out. They just can't see it. We have family that are doing all these wonderful JW things too. They are still young. Boy are they going to be surprised when they are still here in the 60-70's or 80's and they are broke, have pissed through all of their money and Watchtower is done with em.

My return to the WT...a terrible mistake

i haven't posted for quite a bit, decided to share my thoughts on this one, so it is a reference topic for anyone who decides to return back to the org, knowing all about the tatt.

being way for quite long for almost 15 years and all wt's activities, i have missed quite a lot including the "new light" latest updates, i found it quite hard to follow up what was going on to the meetings.

new songs, wt broadcast, videos, internet (so wt now is in favor of the internet) cartoons, and everything seemed completely new and weird to me.. reason for going back it was the severe pressure from close family members to return back to the "truth".

unless they tell you that their understanding has changed, you cannot believe anything unless they say it's ok. .

many years ago i questioned them about their ridiculous view that whenever the word "heart" was mentioned, it was a literal blood filled organ.

Oh this stoopid shunning thing!!

warning - vent ahead....... so, my father (still very much in jw but who has at least had the decency to still keep in contact with me and hubby and to show interest in why we aren't attending and respect where we are at) is in intensive care at a local hospital and is intubated and sedated with some serious health issues.

i'm next of kin so i get all the phone calls from the hospital.. so, the rest of the "family" has cut me off because we are inactive and because the ever-active jw gossip grapevine has rumoured with a sibilant slithy hissy voice: "apossstassssy" is the cause of our inactivity.. whatever.. but now i've had to contact said "family" with the news about my father and what is going on....... so, dad's sisters answer my calls and manage to act and conduct themselves with a degree of decorum.. my sister on the other hand - well, she doesn't deign to answer my calls and texts for most of the day.

i push the issue tonight and insist on speaking to her when my brother-in-law answers the call.

I hope that one day my children will take care of me in the same manner you are looking out for your Dad. I hope he appreciates you. It says so much about you as a person.

As for your sister....well, I have a family member that treats me the same exact way. The best way to treat her is to just smile and seem as happy as you have ever been. They hate that. Honestly, I would like to put my foot where the sun don't shine but I smile and act happy because I know she hates it. lol

when you were an active member in the jwland, did you expect to receive any kind of help from a brother/sister, but they did not help you?

when i was in the jwland, i expected and was my belief that any brother/sister will help you in time of need, distress or trouble, because we were part of a "lovely organization".

but countless of times when i needed and asked for help, nobody from the org helped me.

When I was out of work, we couldn't even get the Elders to ask if our family was doing ok. Not even a kind or encouraging word. We never expected anyone to give us money, maybe just a kind word or smile. We received NOTHING. I am grateful for that now. It was the beginning of the end for us. We exited due to lack of love, learned TTATT and realized that we were raised in a cult. So actually, the lack of love is what initially got us out. THANK YOU WATCHTOWER AND THE CONGREGATION, YOU DID US A HUGH FAVOR. NEVER HAPPIER!

1 hour 14 minute ph call from coordinator last night ?

i didn't recognise his number , cordial talk for 2 minutes then what can i say , the chook rose to the occasion.

i will relay main points but the order is not necessarily correct.

he wants to visit with an other elder ( i live in two states 2/3 of time in a new house in their territory, but they don't know address yet ).

Years ago WT and JW's kept their mouths shut. Not anymore. They are the most pompous and arrogant bunch. You can just see the change in everyone's demeanor. I guess that is their message of judgement. Lol
