i had gotten a phone call from a brother who was really upset.

he said there was a resolution passed that everyone is in agreement to the selling of the elmira hall.

the strange thing is at the congregation picnic an elder told him that a few years ago the deed to the hall was signed over to the org.

Cost of Attending the International Conventions

i have never been invited/requested/applied to any international convention, other than it happening to be our own convention in new york city where we were already assigned (i think back and maybe this happened two times or so when i was growing up).. anyway, people here keep commenting about the cost to attend; the inflated airfares, rooms, transportation, etc.. does anyone have some actual numbers to provide?

i realize that the cost of attending a convention in a different country will be affected by some variations in airfare from the departure city but generally how much do these things cost?

are they comparable to a tour from an expedia, travelocity or other travel site?.

The entire cult is driven off of the "exemplary." The ones who can fill the donation boxes, leave their estates, put the "time" in, have building experience, law experience, health care experience, or who have any skill WT can "use" and stick their noses up anyone's ass, who can do anything for them. If you can do ANYTHING for WT, you are good! Once you become dead wood to them, they will dispose of you. The cash and assistance only runs one way....Watchtowers way!
