  Not invited to congregation “get togethers”. They finally said it

  we don’t get many invitations to congregational social gatherings.

  we don’t attend midweek meetings and miss about 1/3 of sunday meetings.

  we go in service at least once a month.

  Remember the word WT uses, "exemplary." If you are not "exemplary", they won't invite you to their reindeer games. My response, "you can shove your reindeer games where the sun don't shine."

  Yes, if you don't follow all the WT/JW rules and tick all the boxes, you are not invited to their little events. At least she actually said it out loud. I would tell that what you said right there is why I no longer attend and why I no longer want to be a part of "Jah's loving organization." And they wonder why there Kingdom Halls are emptying and they are selling them off.

  since my book was published two years ago, jws avoid me even though i am not disfellowshipped.

  Yes, we have JW family just waiting and watching to see us fall our faces. Can't ya just feel the love?

  Good for you! Keep giving those interviews and keep exposing WT for what it is. It will take JW's realizing that they wasted their lives slaving for a real estate company that has grown very wealthy off the backs of the poor JW's who have broken their backs and opened their wallets, so WT can get rich. Then, when these one's hit retirement age, they realize they are broke and WT is not there for them.

  my wife asked me after the year 2000 came and went without fanfare(because the wt organization said all the “new world” would be here within this 20th century would end), “ what would it take for you to leave the truth?”.

  my reply was “ if i turn 60 in this “system of things”.

  Fantastic! You are still young. Enjoy life and freedom and love those who truly love you! The rest are not worth your time. Great news!

  You will be amazed at how much time you truly have without doing all the JW "tasks."

  I think we are starting to see more and more Elders make their exit. My spouse and I read several posts on reddit last night. Many Elders seem to be waking up.

  some would have even stayed in the organization if they became a bit more liberal and open minded.

  PIMI relative complains about convention venue.

  i have just got of the phone with a relative complaining about the convention venue.

  as far as my relative is concerned wt can do no wrong, so for him to say what he did it must of been bad.

  the venue where the convention was held was described to me as a “tin shed with no air conditioning”.

  When JW's start complaining (rightly so), WT gives some sort of talk about murmuring. In others words...."shut up and sit down and enjoy the spiritual food that Jehovah (aka, the Borg) has so lovingly prepared for you."
