One thing I think is interesting. We know of several Elders wives that have Boob jobs and all is ok with that but you can't have a tattoo? Hmmmm. I guess if Brother Elder has to get his freak off with his wifes new boobs...it's all ok. Hey is that tit for tat? lol

It doesn't matter if they are baptized. They thank Jehovah every time they win a tennis game. They should know better than to pose nude or drape themselves in a flag. I know "worldly" people who wouldn't even pull those stunts. Too much class. They get away with it because of the $$$. Been watching this crap all our lives. -

KH 1st timer, could use some advice

i am soon going into a kh for the first time and i could use some advice around etiquette etc.
i know next to nothing besides the fundamental beliefs of jws, i personally dont believe in any religion, and that stance isnt ever going to change, however i don't want to come across as rude or disrespectful.

What do they endure?
1.Driving around aimlessly.
2. Gossiping. They are really good at this!
3. Eating too many donuts.
4. Drinking too much coffee.
5. Collecting any Governmental Assistance checks they can get their hands on.
6. Mooching off of anyone in the Congregation they can get their hands on.
7. Criticising anyone in the Congregation who got a college education and has a good job. They don't have a problem borrowing money from these ones.
8. Letting everyone know that they are serving Jehovah to the full. Brag, brag, brag.
9. Walking as slow as possible to the next door.

by gone for good inmost of us old timers left behind a stable, respected, religious heritage in our disillusioned haste to join a stupid cult.. as i recall, there was no rite of dissociation required - no reason offered to your church, no resignation required - it was a non-event from the dubs viewpoint.

Unfortunately, we were born ins. We were raised by wonderful families but have alot of resentment because of being born ins. We talk alot about what it is that attracts people to this cult. If we had a choice we wouldn't have chosen to associate with these bat s*** crazy people. I think we were just drug along by our hair. We always felt like something just didn't feel quite right. -

ABCNews Nightline: Segment on JW absuse cases here......
by WingCommander inhere is the segment on the conti abuse case in california and jehovah's witness's response as reported on by the abcnews nightline broadcast which was shown early this morning.
it really displays some absolutely shocking behavior from not only her abuser and his (supportive) wife, but also the jw attorneys and elders via video.
i am just blown away by the audacity displayed by these monsters.. we can now understand why governing body member stephen lett slipped in his comments a couple of weeks ago about "untrue reports of child abuse" in one of his talks which can viewed on the cult's website.
