So....let me get this straight. I can not do any work or business with or on a church. I can not even attend a church for a wedding or funeral BUT Watchtower can sell a building to a church? Boy...that is the height of hypocrisy! They did this with our old Kingdom Hall (sold it to a church). Way to go WT...you don't even have any shame.

Of course it was well maintained. Watchtower has great FREE labor at it's disposal!

by truthseeker inhas anyone noticed that with each new child abuse case that involves the watchtower, there is no apology to the victims but only their standard cookie cutter response:.
"jehovah's witnesses abhor child abuse".
they "abhor child abuse", but they do not acknowledge any guilt.. i give them a g for repetition for emphasis.

If they abhor it then why don't they make it public (to the congregation) that there is a pedophile in the congregation? If one of my children were molested by someone in the congregation, and I found out the Elders knew and did not tell others, I would be furious. I would be hiring the best attorney money could by and be suing not only the Elders but WTBTS.

Elders Advice Backfired And Now Im The Happiest I've Ever Been
by pale.emperor injust wanted to update you guys of the amazing couple of weeks i've had in recovering from the cult.. i was attending the meetings still just so i could see my daughter in the kingdom hall and have her sit we me half the time.
i had no intention of ever becoming a jw again but was hoping to be re-instated and just not turn up ever again so i could at least see my family.
but then an elder said something to me that changed all that.

I remember everyone in our area was on edge...Stating this is Jehovah's final message! LOL Since this brochure was distributed, in our area alone, the local churches are expanding and growing. Turning small home town churches into Mega arenas.

I have to get this off my chest...cult equals guilible
by Sour Grapes intwo weeks ago while visiting a friend in north carolina, i agreed to go with him to the sunday public talk.
the public talk was about how the witnesses have the direction of angels while going in service.
the speaker told some real doozies and you could hear the "oohs and ahhs" from the audience.

Yes...we believe in miracles now. We also have a choir. An idol has been placed on our Kingdom Halls (JW. org signs) and there is dancing and singing at the Kingdom Halls and Assembly Halls. Our parents are rolling over in their graves.
