They have none over us. They tried but we gave them NOTHING. It pissed them off and they moved on.

"Inactive" non Attenders, how much power do the JW's have over YOU ?
by Phizzy ini was thinking about this because of the constant reminders we get in posts that we inactive non attenders have to be careful what we say to jw's, and what we do that they may learn about etc, if we don't wish to be before a j.c. the power they have is limited by what we give them.
now, i do not wish to be declared df'd of da'd, it would kill my old mum i think.. but i refuse to live my life looking over my shoulder, that, in my opinion, is giving them too much power.. i openly vote, i openly donate blood, i enjoy the odd cigar etc etc.. how much power do you allow them to have over you ?.

Anyone else feel guilty about bringing others into the "truth", once you have learned TTATT ?
by Dunedain ini guess this is not so much about guilt, per se, but more so if you feel an obligation to reveal what you now know about ttatt, to those who you have studied with, taught the "truth" to, and are still in the borg ?.
i am sure most of us, after learning about the evils, and lies perpetrated by this organization, must feel some sort of guilt for being the catalyst in "exposing" others to the cult.
honestly, i feel none of us should actually, feel guilty though.

Yes. I agree with NVR2L8. JW's will tell you all the info you are finding out are "apostate lies." They are not lies. My spouse and I left the religion later on in life. The religion we were raised in no longer exists. The changes they make are just incredible. Really check out the generation change they made back in the 90's. The only reason they changed that teaching was because the older ones were all passing away. They had no other option but to change it. The generation teaching was a major teaching. It's like they took everyones hope away. Look at all of the elderly peoples faces. They all look tired and lost. Then they came up with the overlapping generation teaching. Have someone explain that one to you. You will get a "deer in the headlights" look because NO ONE understands and and can't explain it.
I can read any old publication (book)...Moby Dick, Little Women, Gone with The Wind. Those books are still relevant, they have not changed. WT has even instructed the congregations to destroy all of the old publications. You have to ask yourself...why does the all knowing God Jehovah not know how to direct his people and he is constantly changing the Bible and it's teachings? Simple answer....he's NOT directing them!
RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. THINK, THINK, THINK

LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN....RUN LIKE HELL. Do your research on the JW's and their history. Trust me when I tell you, you don't want to go there.
My spouse and I are born in JW's and what we have found out over the past several years in INCREDIBLE. Look into JW.facts.com. You will learn so much!

Shunning the Shunning
by Tallon infound this very interesting article on another site.
looks like there people, and at an assembly too, who are not afraid to show their displeasure to the inhumane policies of the org.. http://avoidjw.org/2016/08/shunning-the-shunning/.

I find it funny that the scriptures that describe the Pharisees applies to the leadership of the JW cult.
Lately, I have been thinking of the scripture that says there would be no natural affection. That also applies to the leadership of the JW cult. The shunning video truly shows the lack of natural affection the Bible describes.
Let's hope that more and more members are starting to see what we all have (TTATT). The cracks are starting to show and WT knows it.

"Well the QB doesn't quite say that.... particularly if it's just one or two people.... the QB says it should be 'considered'.... they'd probably just go - "ah right, there goes ToesUp, again!"
Yes....I have been known to be a "troublemaker." What really pissed the Brothers off, is I am a woman (the weaker vessel). Some Brothers had that look on there face (scared shiTl*ss) when they would see me. I am actually very nice. I just have bitchy resting face. Watch the video....that's me! Mrs. Toes

So according to the question box, if it bothers my conscience, as a publisher in the congregation, will they still sell it? Me thinks so. FOLLOW THE MONEY! Hypocrites!

So....let me get this straight. I can not do any work or business with or on a church. I can not even attend a church for a wedding or funeral BUT Watchtower can sell a building to a church? Boy...that is the height of hypocrisy! They did this with our old Kingdom Hall (sold it to a church). Way to go WT...you don't even have any shame.
“We could not believe the pristine, well-maintained condition of the building,” Stanley said. “It was like everyone’s jaw dropped, with a building that old, how well-maintained it had been.”
Of course it was well maintained. Watchtower has great FREE labor at it's disposal!

Every new court case means cookie cutter response "Jehovah's Witnesses abhor child abuse"
by truthseeker inhas anyone noticed that with each new child abuse case that involves the watchtower, there is no apology to the victims but only their standard cookie cutter response:.
"jehovah's witnesses abhor child abuse".
they "abhor child abuse", but they do not acknowledge any guilt.. i give them a g for repetition for emphasis.

If they abhor it then why don't they make it public (to the congregation) that there is a pedophile in the congregation? If one of my children were molested by someone in the congregation, and I found out the Elders knew and did not tell others, I would be furious. I would be hiring the best attorney money could by and be suing not only the Elders but WTBTS.

Great post rebelfighter.
Don't use your kids to get back at your wife. Let your child see the correct way. Kids watch their parents.
