They all have their little soap boxes. One Elder had a fixation with sitting in the front rows at the KH, so he would shove all the back seats forward so no one could sit there. I loved that one when my kids were small. Always fun to sit up front with a whiny 2 year old. Asshats!

if a speaker came in wearing anything but white they were brought into the library and were given a white shirt!

2017 International Regional Convention, Toronto – Entertainment at Sony Centre
by SAHS ini’ve been hearing from several very reliable sources that there will be an exclusive elite gala entertainment event hosted by the watch tower organization, featuring specially chosen jehovah’s witnesses of outstanding talent as well as spiritual reputation, at the sony centre (formerly called the o’keefe centre) in toronto, ontario (canada) as a special “after hours” addition to the 2017 special international convention.. those chosen have to meet very strict criteria, including, not so much technical and popular talents, but, rather, their spiritual maturity which can be easily and practically related to by the audience (i.e., degree of conformity – you know what i mean!).
a notable and very well-known professional “super star” from some other country (i don’t know which one) who has achieved highly recognized and popular talent was surprisingly not chosen to participate in the extra entertainment program, whereas other performers with rather ho-hum musical abilities ended up being selected, ostensibly for their altruistic and “theocratic” qualities.
(something tells me that there is going to be some jealousy and indignant, hard feelings over this rather authoritarian, arbitrary selection process.

It happened in the US in 2014 in Atlanta. They worshipped the delegates.. It was believable to see how regular JW's where treated like Royalty.

The denial of 1975 when and how did they go about it.
by Crazyguy ini was pretty young in 1975, all i remember was a few complaining at the hall after and those at the door that razed us over it.
does anyone remember how they went about denying it and when this started.
i do remember a scripture in psalms about people being mighty and living longer so this was used.

Baby update and quick hello.

my last post mentioned that we lost twin b at 17 weeks but twin a is doing well so far.
we are 25 weeks tomorrow and a week past the point of viability so we are starting to get really exited for this new adventure in our lives.

Great post. So this guy was shunned for getting married? NICE! WT calls these things done to the rank and file "injustices", we call them pure 100% abuse. Most in WT land just don't get it and never will. If these ones want to remain in Jahs org (cult), let em. I choose not to participate in it anymore. What a relief it has been!

I am a firm believer in Karma. I have witnessed it over and over in my lifetime. People who hurt others eventually get caught. They get comfortable with getting away with it and eventually slip up. It's coming for WT. WT will never go away. They are re branding but their past is coming back to bite em (i.e. denying 1975 was ever promoted by WT). There are recordings of these talks and they are online. Kim and Mike have a new You Tube with all the recordings (at the end of their You Tube). WT can run but can't hide.

Yep...if your not a JW, they will do nothing for you. When we were still in they would do nothing for you. If you're not an Elder, CO, pioneer, beth-hell or someone who can do nothing for WT you are pretty much invisible. Can you just feel the love?

Unfortunately, you will never change some of these people. They will never see things YOUR way . We have tried this with some family members. You will always be the bad guy. We don't even try with our families anymore. We figure, if people don't want to be a part of our family, that is their loss. Good riddance to em.

Far and away the best video I have seen explaining cults

it does not mention jws, but perfectly aligns with them.
it is put in a manner that would make some understand why jws are considered a cult.
