What a great success story. You should be so proud! We have watched our JW relatives marriages fall apart over the years. JW's do not like to look at the character of a person, It's all about the outward appearance and how many JW tasks you do which equates to how "spiritual" you are. Your wife and kids are lucky to have you!

Another JW gem to make you feel like sh@t. I know of disaster marriages in WT. Marrying a JW isn't a guarantee. I know of JW's married to "worldly men" and the men are awesome husbands, fathers and friends. I know of JW's married to JW's and their separated, divorced or in a miserable marriage. This is the G in FOG....GUILT! More JW BS.

You will notice their formatting is not aligned. I do not have time to put in a chart. If you have the time, you would provide a great service to the forum.

The top of the chart states: Av. Hrs. Av. Mags. Av R.v Av Bi. St. Hope this helps.

I had a friend call me last year telling me about an Elder in his hall who is in jail still, who molested his daughter. Funny how when I talk to my friend now, he NEVER mentions it anymore. He went dead silent. They are being coached by the Elder body to not "bring reproach upon Jehovah's name." They sweep this disgusting crime under the rug. If WT is so innocent, why won't they bring forth the documents that the court is requesting? If you have nothing to hide, why not reveal the documents?

The JW's just don't want to come to terms that this is a disgusting crime.

Thank you for the info. When I used to go to Cleveland years ago, They would have 3 - 6 weeks of conventions with over 12 - 15,000 each. Now I see they only have 3 scheduled for this year. "Don't Give Up!" Looks like many already have!

Becoming a jw actually made me a much more worldly person.

i was raised a catholic from birth to age 15, that's when my dad started to study with some jw's that came to our door.

i was too young/ naive to notice how my lifelong friends were slowly being replaced with so called " outstanding spiritual youths".. anyway, there was randy and kevin, the sons of the po from the hall, everyone thought that they were the most spiritual people i could hang out with.

I agree. Some of the witness kids I grew up with were in more mischief than the kids at school. Smoking pot and drinking were big ones. I never got involved with pot. Too much of a good girl. In WT land it's all about appearances.
