i am now officially 'inactive' so am no longer chased by an elder a for a report.

the congregation i belonged to never had much time for me anyway, i said once i could drop down dead in the k.hall and no one would notice.

so i never expected anyone to be particularly bothered that i wasn't there and they aren't.

My story mimics yours to a tee. I have lost countless “friends.” You wouldn’t be human if it didn’t hurt. It does. Where else on earth are you treated this way? It is barbaric behavior.

My spouse and I have a saying, “we only want people in our lives who WANT to be there. “ We have let others know that we love them and are still here. If they don’t want it, they can move along. We are still caring, kind and loving people.

We have some close friends and family that have distanced themselves and that is their choice. We have to respect that decision just like we want respect. It’s tough sometimes.

Family events(when you actually get invited)

it's hard for me to go to any event with witness family i havent seen in a long time..i have a pretty personal story that i don't care to share but since the incident, my mom's family stopped talking to me..when i go to family events everything feels fake.

i feel like i did something wrong and i'm around people who i'm not good enough to be around.

i went over five years recently not talking to my family (brothers/mom)after my divorce.

Family events suck. We never felt “good enough” either. We weren’t invited to most events when we where still in. My spouse wasn’t a servant and I wasn’t a pioneer. No titles....no recognition in the cult. Much happier now! Now we truly enjoy our time and money.

Not changing the 2 witness rule just shows what you are dealing with. A true 100% narcissist is a sight to see. These guys are true 100% narcissists. They won’t budge or apologize for anything because they truly believe they are right. Karma is coming for them! Hopefully sooner rather than later and in my lifetime, so I can watch it happen. Oh please....let me be alive to see it happen!!!🥂

we all are hearing of the trend right now to ¨downsize¨ the congregations...ie... eliminate by combining, in order to blah blah blah... .

here is what you didnt know: every time a congregation is dissolved, for whatever reason, including merging or dispersing, wt makes money!

Tech....that is crazy! Watchtower is really at its lowest. They have no shame. These are the stories that confirm that we made the right decision to exit.

What can the leadership at Watchtower do to turn things around?

let's play devils advocate here.. put yourself in the governing body's shoes.

they are well aware of all the issues they are facing.

they know their numbers (they 'do the math' as they say in the us).

Narcissists don’t need to turn things around. If you ever deal with a true Narcissist you will find that it is everyone else that is at fault. Watchtower is selfish cult that does not care about the welfare of its members.

Since they purchased this facility away from Patterson and Watchtower Farms. I believe their goal one day is to sell off Patterson and the farm. They will have their elite Management team and helpers at Warwick running their TV empire from their shiny new broadcast building. Mean time the rank and file will use the online donation program to funnel in the money. Kingdom Halls will be drastically reduced. The Elder arrangement will be drastically changed or eliminated.
