Yes, the GB knows this. A similar situation with the blood policy. WT knows if they drop the blood policy completely, they will get the crap sued out of them.

The glue of disfellowshiping
by Sour Grapes inthe fear or threat of being disfellowshipped is what is keeping thousands of jdubs stuck in the borg.
the borg knows that and constantly reminds the witlesses of this loving provision from their desert god.. this forces thousands of people to live miserable lives.
millions of jdubs live for the promised panda and lion petting zoo while pissing away the only life they will ever have.

Female JW parking "attendants"
by neat blue dog ini was shocked recently to see on social media a couple pictures of jw sisters at a convention working as parking "attendants".
i put that title in quotation marks because they still don't get the official attendant badge like the male parking attendants do, only the reflective vest.
has anybody else heard of this .

JWTALK Bob Comes Up With A Classic
by AverageJoe1 inthe guy everyone loves to hate, bob, has come up with a classic:.
redefining the concept of "critical thinking" when it comes to jws.. he quite correctly states the need to use critical thinking when reading the bible, yet we all know that pimi jws don't have the first clue what "critical thinking" really means, especially on a thread fawning over how great the gb are and guessing who will be presenting the next jwb!.
the link to the actual comment is:.

Yeah this guy sounds like the typical self righteous and arrogant dub.
I scrolled up and read the lyrics to a JW song. The song is about loneliness. Interesting. How come all the JW's are feeling lonely? I felt that way to when I was in. Been out for several years, don't feel lonely anymore! I just find it interesting that JW's feel lonely in their big and loving family.

Pioneers, Prayers and Pills
by Wake Me Up Before You Jo-Ho inlooking back on my two decades as a jehovah’s witness, i’ve come to realize how the constant theme of endurance is playing a detrimental role on the individual's psyche.. jehovah’s witnesses have become far too good at keeping going.
they’re experts at surrendering to the demands of the watchtower, living up to what’s expected of them, and getting on with the priorities that those in power have defined and imposed upon them.
they keep showing up, presenting themselves a dutiful pioneer or ministerial servant.

We know of several families hooked on prescription meds. They actually brag about it. They all looked spaced out!!!
I drank like a fish when I was a JW. Now...I have an occasional glass of wine. Happiness and freedom does that to you!! lol

Your post is heartbreaking. NO ONE deserves to loose their family. I'm sorry. You have all right to feel the way you do.
I hope WT pays for all the hurt it has caused others. They rip families apart.
Sending hugs your way!!!

Something that really ticked me off about seeing the video of New Head Quarters of J.W.s (Warwick)
by StoneWall inwhen i was a jw it was always emphasized that we should trust in jehovah completely.
jah will protect his people do not trust in man, throw your burdens upon jehovah etc.ok now if that's true wouldn't it mean that if jehovah was going to protect anywhere it should be his world head quarters right?.
we were told to not trust in ourselves (such as guns, walls for defense and protection) but to leave it in jehovah's hands and he would provide a means for escape etc.so as i'm watching some pro-wt vid's about the facilities in warwick i noticed something they didn't show on them or focus on and only reason i know about it was because of the w5 newscast as well as the vids the protesters shared.they conveniently leave out the parts of them putting walls/fences and gates as well as a "guard shack" at entrance instead of relying on jehovah to protect them.the guard house even has a "no trespassing" sign in the window.

The JW's are still using the old tactic that the writer of the letter used years ago. "You CAN NOT make it without US. The world will only chew you up and spit you out." We have heard all of the same things. They actually say it with glee in their voice. Like they are looking forward to your demise.
It's funny. If you have ever been in a relationship with an abuser, they will say the same exact thing...."YOU CAN NOT MAKE IT WITHOUT ME. You will fail."

My spouse and I read this. Fantastic!!! I love how HE took control over his own life. My spouse and I did the same thing. Taking control is 100% the best thing we EVER did. We are stronger for it.
Thank you for sharing this.
