There are MANY Elders in the congregations who send their kids to higher education. We saw it in our own area. I wonder what they will be thinking while they are sitting at family worship night listening to this depiction of higher learning.
It's amazing how many JW's that Watchtower "uses", that have higher education, to build and keep running their billion dollar empire. Their educated Lawyers are very busy right now.
Watchtower is poking holes in their own boat. People are waking up and this is the stuff that is doing it. I think it is GREAT!!! Keep up the good work WT, your doing a better job than the apostates!!! lol
They are looking cultier everyday!!!!

do not keep account of the injury?
by Addison0998 ini have a long time “friend” around my age, she and her husband are big sheeple who have been raised to practically worship elders and view their as police angels.
anyways, they recently arranged to have a meeting with the elders to ask for their blessing pretty much to go to a wedding of a relative of hers who is not in the best standing, (she just recently got baptized and her husband was recently reinstated) anyways, the elders told them of course that it was their choice, but warned them that every time they ask for the elders advice on something, it is recorded whether they heeded the advice or not and looked at for things such as ske school, which is a goal they have to do together.
and of course they advised them not to go so they didn’t, especially since they want to go to the ske school, and i guess they only accept people who let people have full control of their lives.

the coordinators committee formed a focus group from service and teaching committees.
the results of that group roughly three+ years ago, with gb approval, trickled down to the other committees and eventually into what we have been seeing before our eyes in the org and local congs.. pick an organizational level and see the shift.

Yes, you are right, they are NOT thinking of the liability issues but they should be. Watchtower WILL NOT be there for them when an Elder is put before a judge and jury. Watch the ARC for an example of that. Elders on the stand sh*tting their pants.

So it looks like WT is going to do the love bombing and the perception that JW's are the "happiest people on earth." There is ONE thing WT can not change....the INTERNET!!! The internet and the vast army of mad apostates are killing them. Anyone coming into contact with JW's WILL look them up on the INTERNET. When you want to buy a car/home, you research on the internet. WT can not stop that! That this the beautiful thing! Once the old timers die off, the next generation will be a very small one. The internet and media has labled WT a cult and has exposed WT for all of it's lies and child abuse cover ups. Only the most "loyal" cult members will remain.
The reason they are not looking at the PRC cards anymore is because they are not getting the Brothers to "reach out." The liability of being an Elder is HUGE. I believe even some of the most uber men in the borg see this for what it is but can not cross over to the other side, in fear of loosing their family and friends and some even loosing their jobs. They just CAN'T do it. They see the cracks. How can you not.
" I want to hear about what your relationship with them as spiritual men is like in your own words as if they were sitting right beside you now." Yep, go on outward appearance. What you SEE. This can be very dangerous. How many criminals LOOK like the guy or girl next door. Putting imperfect men in charge of EVERY aspect of anyone's life is a very dangerous thing to take on.

Over eating v over drinking
by Normalfulla inwhen i was in, i couldn't understand why the subject of over eating or gluttony was almost never discussed, there was countless talks and articles about over drinking but over eating is lumped in as the same offence in the bible but was never discussed?
an elder who was serving in the islands told me he heard a talk given by a local in the cong there who professed that "in the new system we can eat as much as we want and not get fat".
so why was /is it not talked about?

My spouse and I have talked about this issue for years. No local needs talks on gluttony.
Like someone else posted, most in the KH's would be DF'd. Just like most of Beth hell would be DF'd for alcoholism. lol

I would have responded exactly as you did. That was perfect!!!! Getting and keeping your kid out of a cult is saving them from an eternal future of abuse and lies. Great response!

So some will choose to leave but other will ENDURE. You can see how WT really leans heavy on the mate remaining with an abuser. Why? Because one day that abuser may become a JW. So let him/her beat the crap out of you and just maybe one day they will become a JW. This cult is criminal and corrupt to the core! I hope I live long enough to see WT suffer!
