i was commenting on another thread about how local kh attendance is down.
memorial attendance was also way down and the circuit assembly had hundreds less people than what is typical.
my jw family has even mentioned it.

We have been out for several years and are really hoping this cult takes a turn for the worse. It has really inflicted a ton of damage on our families over the years. I know there a so many more hoping the same thing!!!
it really hurt to hear brothers and sisters commenting about this at the meeting yesterday.. "as in solomon’s case, one of the greatest threats to spirituality is friendship with those who do not understand or respect jehovah’s standards.
some may be associated with the congregation but may be spiritually weak.
others could be relatives, neighbors, coworkers, or schoolmates who are not worshippers of jehovah.
WT has set up a us versus them attitude and is turning the heat up on this with the rank and file. They are looking more and more cult like everyday.
My message to them....there's the door don't let it hit ya in the ass!!! We don't want people in our lives who don't want to be there. We only want loving, kind and respectable people in ours. WT is very very worried that those "weak ones" are going to rub off on the rank and file. If that happens, more money will be walking out the door.
we all know how much the watchtower abhors "higher education" and that apparently jehovah thinks it is a big waste of time.
at least that is their official stance.
it might come as a shock to you that this month they have started a campaign drive to actually recruit jws who have higher education, specifically those who have legal training.. with all the law suits against them for creating an environment that is friendly to paedophiles, it is thus no wonder that they are in need of solicitors, especially those who are sympathetic towards the cult.. talk about hypocrisy!.

No matter which way you slice it...it hurts and it hurts bad. This is your family and you have all right to feel hurt. I hurt for you. Even if you do not disassociate (fade), your family may treat you a bit different. We faded and came clean to our family. They still speak to us ( a little distant) but they still speak to us. The important thing, we have a few family members that we may have paved the way for them to GET OUT.

I have watched this clip over and over again since posted and I have to say that THIS is the video that has deeply impacted me. It truly confirmed that our family made the right choice in leaving this cult.
I showed this to my college student child and told him that this is just ONE of the many reasons we had to get out. His mouth hit the floor when he saw it.

I hope this broadcasting episode wakes many up. We know of many JW's who may have an eyebrow raise on this one. Sadly, so many turn a blind eye to it and some do not even watch these broadcasting episodes. They are too busy getting a higher education. lol
