Help needed: Written material regarding shunning of DF'd and DA'd individuals

i would like this to become a permanent thread, because i think there are grounds - at least in europe - to take this matter up to the european court of human rights.

not sure we'll ever get there, but one must start somewhere.

objective: force, by legal means, the watchtower society and the jehovah's witnesses to stop the practice of shunning ex-jehovah's witnesses, on grounds that it constitutes a violation of human rights.. what is needed: all written material ever published by the watchtower society, especially since 1940's, concerning the practice of shunning.

I intend to do it with the help of a Family Rights Protection Association of my country in Europe, because now that I have announced my voluntary withdrawal from JWs org. for reasons of conscience, the organization of JWs is putting pressure on one of my daughters "pioneering" and on her husband's family to shun me completely, infringing the Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights. I think I am going to prepare a complete record for the end of the summer and I will keep you informed in due time.

Since I have decided to officially dissociate myself of the JW.Org.'s cult, instead of keeping on fading, I now feel completely aware of my own regained legitimate right to decide for myself and am enjoying it every minute. Life is so nice since your Fading Albatross has become your Unfettered Albatross. Thank you so much for your kind help.

i am hesitating between muppet and puppet show.

but i think that puppet show is a bit more appropriate.

Standardized or United in Love ?

one of the main trigger points who brought me to decide to officially separate myself from the jw org.by very recenly sending my letter of dissociation was reached when i became fully aware that the jw.org is standardizing their flock with their repeated manipulations and new lights instead of uniting them with love.

and once fully standardized according to the jw.org standards it is very difficult for a jw to have normal and human contact with "worldly" not standardized people.. thanks for reading and take care..

fading and not "outing" yourself.. what are your thoughts on it?.

i ask, because i just received a scathing personal message on facebook from a person who read my latest book and in it i describe myself as a fader.

i was not dfd and i did not da myself.

Hi Brock Talon,

Every personal situation is different. And everyone should act according to this personal situation, that can change with the time passing. After fourty years as an active JW I have been fading hundred percent during three years and recently I took the decision to DA myself, because I was ready, prepared and willing to do it. I feel very comfortable now, and very proud of myself, I have no regret at all. In my DA letter I have quoted the articles 12 and 18 of the Human Declaration of Human Rights.

I repeat it : every personal situation is different, can also move in different directions, and it is up to everyone to act accordingly in due time.

In my case the Fading Albatross has become the Unfetterd Albatross. So nice now to fly over oceans of liberty, free of the inherent manipulation and hypocrisy. of a cult.

just learned today direct from my beloved daughter that she has been abused between 5 and 12 years old by 2 brothers (her own cousins) and 1 family "friend".

she has attempted suicide a few days ago.

luckily she is living and she is not physically injured.

just learned today direct from my beloved daughter that she has been abused between 5 and 12 years old by 2 brothers (her own cousins) and 1 family "friend".

she has attempted suicide a few days ago.

When difficult and cruel times have knocked at your door, you may have the impression that your whole body is naked and lying on very cold snow. But once things have changed you have lost the impression that one day it was freezing cold. Why so ? Because once things have changed for better you feel like a bear with a nice fur and even if the cruel past remains in your memory it does not affect you anymore. How to get my kids out

i've been disfellowshipped for about 5 years and extremely happy to be out.

my ex wife is still a regular meeting attender and takes our two young kids with her (8 and 6 years old).

i recently saw some of the caleb and sophia videos on the jw.org website and was completely appalled, i remember what i was taught as a kid growing up in the organization but this seems so much worse and now that i'm out i can plainly see the mind control.

Dear SaneAgain,
I was about to tell you about my own experience but I will not do it. Not at all by fear to be recognized, as I am no more, since a very short time, belonging to the JW org,, as I have decided to "officially" dissociate myself.
If I give you more information about my own experience I will have to give you details about my wife and daughters, about their privacy life. And I do not want to do it by respect for them.
Anyway let me tell you that only through true love you will get the love and the respect of your children back to you in due time. Love (with hugging and kissing) and some appropriate material sacrifices are always appreciated by children. Only your efforts will help your children to make the difference between true love and cult manipulation.
Let me repeat it: a difficult situation today can turn into an easy one tomorrow, ...or the day after tomorrow.

I fully understand what you are going through now. Not easy, but not insoluble. It will take some time for you. I will come back and tell you what has happened to me before and more recently. But I will have to make my say more complete so that I can give you useful information. It will take me one, two or three more days because on one hand English is not my mother tongue and on the other hand I will have to collect useful information out of my brain, my heart an my own experince to help you to realize that a difficult situation today can turn into an easy one tomorrow.

Very good news. My daughter is much, much, much better now. She is living now with me. I am so happy !!! Life is nice !!!. Recently I have officially dissociated myself from the JW org. Now I do not feel anymore like a fading Albatross but like a unfettered Albatross, like a bird flying now over oceans of freedom. It took time after many decades to take the decision to dissociate myself from the JW cult, But luckily every good thing is coming in due time. And in due time too my daughter will apply, with the help of my son, to a competent and authorized judicial department of my counry to have her abusers to pay for their crime against her innocent childhood. Life is nice for those who are not afraid to fight for real justice, the kind of justice you will never get if you are still enslaved out of fear to seven GB members, "eders" and other WT henchman.
