June JW Broadcast - Jehovah's & Jesus' names Are Interchangeable!
by The Searcher inmr. geoffrey jackson hosts this month's propaganda-fest, and uses a favourite catchphrase of the org - "by extension" - to get out of the dead-end which the scriptwriters had put him in.
he quotes matthew 10:22 - "and you will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my [jesus'] name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.".
mr. jackson knows only too well that probably no j.w.

It is clear to me and anyone else with common sense that the WTS says to put faith in Jehovah in order to be saved (confirmed just 2 weeks ago at Sunday public talk). No mention at all of Jesus or the necessity of putting faith in Jesus in order to be saved.
Johnamos, you can argue and side with the WTS but what is pronounced from the platform is Jehovah IS the savior period. Read the following passage in Daniel:
(Daniel 7:13, 14). . . “I kept watching in the visions of the night, and look! With the clouds of the heavens, someone like a son of man was coming; and he gained access to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him up close before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership, honor, and a kingdom, that the peoples, nations, and language groups should all serve him. His rulership is an everlasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom will not be destroyed.
And if Jesus is ruling now (WTS 1914 teaching) Jesus should be at the helm now per God. End of story, period.

Help with understanding
by Doltologist inplease take pity on me someone and help.. i was going to say that i suffer from aspergers syndrome but actually, i've come to rather enjoy it.. no, seriously, i really do have aspergers which is why my posts may seem a little odd to some of you.
ok, they may seem bloody odd to most of you.. my world exists in a binary frame.
things are or they are not.. i know that in the "real world" things might be or might not be as well as are and are not.

The diverse life on Earth, our perfect ecosystem, and our incredibly complex body and mind is more than enough proof that a Creator does exist. How? The water cycle and how this provides enough water to sustain our existence on Earth. The human body with all its organs working in tandem most of them on autopilot. The diverse and incredibly voluminous amount of animal life found on Earth with different characteristics. The Earth being perfectly positioned from the Sun so life can thrive and our moon which provides nightlight and balances the elements so life can thrive in and out of the sea.
The evolving of life on Earth does not automatically lend itself for concrete proof of a divine Being having created everything but it sure closes the window or at least makes it very narrow for all of these things to have happened by complete coincidence. Ask any scientist to estimate the chances of the aforementioned happening and it becomes unrealistic.
And if a divine Being does exist and we have been told about him in the only book to ever survive this long and be the most widely publicized and printed book in the history of man, there has to be some credibility to this divine Being having a Son named Jesus who later on became the Christ.

Are Elders experts on the Bible? Are they spirtually qualified men?
by John Aquila inhow many times have elders read their bible in its entirety?
these are the leaders that give counsel to married couples, to teenagers, to single girls and single boys on everything from marriage, education, sex, association, dress, and recreation..
how well do they know their bible?

To answer your questions in order:
40% yes - I've known many elders, some who I wouldn't piss on even if they were on fire, that can recall many texts when needed. Having a good memory and being an expert are two different things. For one, an expert can reconcile one text with another, understand the context and its applicability to the modern day christian, thereby properly understanding how to implement it if ever.
35% yes - this is a complicated question. This is where the org has tremendous problems with appointing men who are assholes yet because they meet the spiritual criteria (Paul's letter to Timothy) they are appointed. Therefore, that figure will always be 100%. The real figure should be around 10% of currently serving elders who truly reflect the qualities of the Christ.
30% yes - but the other 70% probably out of habit and personal goals but not spiritually inclined to do so.
5% yes - but the other 95% probably for bragging rights and not having anything else to read after getting done with the other mindless propaganda.

@ Outlaw - In other posts you have made similar comments about the WTS surviving even a bunker-buster bomb hit (b/b bomb my idea). But if any organization has come close to teaching the fundamental biblical truths (trinity, dead, hellfire, etc.) and can later on be chosen by God to lead the way, it would have to be the WTS carcass or some form thereof. Remember that the majority of JW's are sincere loving people who have been misguided. Most of these people can be found within the R&F with a marginal few being appointed or privileged people.
I would venture to say about 10% of what the WTS is today would survive a major cleaning or refinement by God. I believe the bible does speak of a cleansing in God's house. I think it's in Paul's letter to the Romans not sure though, have to look it up.

It's incredible that they are too stupid to realize THEY are the anti-Christ.
Let's see, umm, the word "anti" means opposed or against something, someone, or an idea.
Now if we add "Christ" to the word "anti", wait a minute, wait, oh shit!!, I got it! That means someone that is opposed to the Christ! The Antichrist!! Jesus (literally) call a special meeting for this Friday, yes I know we have it every Wednesday, but this is huge!! We can pin this shit on the apostates right now!! Losch is going to die!!
So goes the thinking of these moronic imbeciles who can't see THEY are the ones that have shunned Jesus since adopting the incorrect name of Jehovah.

Hello Alex.
Thank you for sharing your story. You are right, it's not easy to break free from mental enslavement and those that do, suffer greatly. But more importantly it's having someone to talk to and listen while your feelings are shared.
There are a lot of good people on this board that have gone through the same exact thing as you. You are by no means alone or unique. The WTS has an iron grip on its members not physically but mentally. The mind controls the body so if your mind is enslaved your body merely carries out your mind's desire. It's rather evil what the WTS has done since its inception. I too, like you, sometimes question things like the Adam and Eve narrative. The Noah flood and the killing of innocent babies.
I would definitely advise you to make as many "worldly" friends as possible including those on this board that may live near you. It's incredible to me how blind a person really is when they are mentally enslaved. I, like you, also questioned things like why if the WTS teaches the truth why they would prohibit the reading of material critical of their teachings. Why, if Jesus taught love, patience, and acceptance, are we told in a very generalizing way (propaganda method) that ALL worldly people that do not bow down to them are EVIL. And like you clearly point out, why, if Jesus sat with sinners and even other sinners criticized him for it, does the WTS feel they can impose shunning. This is another matter where the bible contradicts itself. Paul advises brothers to not say hello, eat, or associate with those that profess to be brothers yet are sinners, yet Jesus teaches to "love our neighbor", and how that commandment in itself, everything rested on including all of the prophets of old. So, like you, I truly wonder, who is right. Paul or Jesus. I don't recall seeing in any bible an asterisk next to the word "love" when Jesus spoke of it, to only include those people who were righteous.
I feel your pain brother. Trust me, many of us on this board feel your pain and we are right there with you. Feel free to PM me whenever you need it.
I wish you the very best and stay strong. Yes! Living happy and to the fullest is the best revenge. Enjoy life, enjoy freedom, live, and live well.

Bro Loesch's talk.
by New day inrecently i heard through video link to our kh a talk by bro loesch where he attacked university study (again) but this time he prefaced his remarks by saying, and i quote, "the faithful slave does not forbid you to go to university.
" so this was a bad start as his following remarks made it clear that this was just a way of seeming reasonable while basically saying that we shouldn't do it.
he went on to use an illustration i think he has used before about a man with ocd who decided to kill himself.

Losch is a hypocrite.
He talks down on higher education yet he makes use of professional people.
The more and more I hear about the university shunning the more I believe these pricks know a wider audience would awaken by learning critical thinking skills. Skills readily found in a college education.

Dear Jane:
Thank you for writing.
I can certainly appreciate your concern for me but it is I that is concerned for you.
I hope that you will one day realize that God cannot accept worship that is tainted with lies being that Satan is the father of the lie.
I wish you the very best.
