A Hard Lesson Learned
by Disassociated Lady 2 indo you remember that my dad passed away last year and i was going back to the witnesses after 26 years?
i got reinstated after going there for 9 months.
in the 5 months since then i felt the men in the congregation didn't want me there.

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation.
It's plain to see that Elders in the majority of congregations worldwide are starting to reveal the wolves they really are inside.
I would not worry about those maggots. In the end they'll get theirs one way or another.

People hate God?
by looter init is a pain that certain individuals pride themselves on hating god, who created everything.
like it's understandable that you choose to not believe in him because of your selfishness or thinking skills but to hate him is forcing it a bit.
i'm very thankful that those such as myself have the courage to believe in the lord.

The same applies for non-believers, we should be respectful of their position.
You may not get too many favorable responses to your OP due to your harsh words on those that disagree with your stance/beliefs.

by Sour Grapes ini was an elder in the 1970's and i was not a big fan of the "stay alive until 75" dogma.
i was looked down upon by the heavy hitters on the body of elders and in time i changed my mind.
i knew of the failed prophecy of 1914 being the end of all times which was repeated for the year 1925...yet i came to believe well maybe this time they've got it right.. with every new watchtower, i combed over every word to find support for my change in my belief that the end was coming in fall of 1975. at the district assembly in 1975, everyone clung onto every word in the final talk.

There's this one idiot who maintains a blog specifically to defend the Witnesses.
His reasoning for the false 1975 prediction.
"No definite statement made".
I had to laugh at him.

September 15th Watchtower, controversy!
by Colinconfused injust looking at some youtube videos and came across a john joseph may, a former jw who was involved in a controversy in ireland back in the late 70s i think.. it all started with a watchtower article september 15th ??.
does anyone know what the article was about?
and why so much controversy surrounding this.

Yes, the controversy originated with Ray Franz and those GB maggots quickly tried to do damage control by issuing those magazine studies. They knew they had screwed Ray over real well and they wanted to make sure NOBODY believed ANYTHING he had to say so as to not expose them for the lying ball sucking maggots that they are.
So how to avoid all of this? Prohibit members from speaking to Ray once he was excommunicated.

Actually the majority of information comes directly referenced from the Watchtower publications. So it's basically a Watchtower fact based website.

Has the Watchtower been sued for defamation?
by biometrics indoes anyone know if the watchtower or individual elders have been successfully sued for defamation follwing a disfellowshipping.
i know some have tried to sue for shunning, and their case had no legal basis.. what is the current platform announcment for a df or da?.
what about court action to recover past donations?.

Got my JC cancelled... (at least for now)
by Sanchy inso my wife and i have been in the process of fading for a few months now as per my original post here.
about a week ago, i was browsing some ex-jw facebook groups when i saw a post that linked to the crisis of conscience book.
i said "f@(k it" and hit share on it.. a few hours later, i get a long text letter from my mom (who was a fb friend of mine) telling me the typical "good luck finding friends in the world" and how we have "nothing in common anymore"; basically, it was a 'farewell' text.

I don't understand why, instead of meeting with them to be admonished over something as stupid and innocuous as an FB post, you didn't meet with them just long enough to hand over a letter from your attorney. Oh yeah, and while handing it to them, you should have had the biggest "you can start shi**in now" grin anyone has ever seen. And then gleefully walked away gotten in your car and driven off, all the while smiling at them with that same grin.
But then again, that's me.
