I know of another case similar to yours. I downloaded the court papers where the WT after having been removed as the beneficiary due to similar unscrupulous acts tried suing the estate.

i learned that they used a financial advisor at wells fargo advisors to help raid my grandaunts bank accounts in the years before her death, and then the wt and jws received most of what was left of her estate.
i am currently working on a book to expose this horrific practice.

well, today they approached me and said we are not able to write to you and we are going to see you the two of us.
i felt how inconsiderate and disrespectful of individuals the watchtower machinery is.

@ quincemyles - I can certainly understand your caution and confusion. In all sincerity, like Searcher mentions, if you wish to continue attending meetings without any fellowship problems, then yes, please take the advice and cease questioning the elders. Sadly, the elders are not equipped spiritually to deal with the reality that the organization has implemented and continues to "go beyond what is written."
The elders, although perhaps having their own doubts, have to toe the line otherwise they themselves will find themselves relieved of their cherished elder position which the organization uses as a carrot.
However, if you really want to make these elders look like complete idiots. I can provide you with the following dialogue:
Considering the organization's record of setting and shedding "new light" and having to correct prophetic dates and seasons. Do the following scriptures apply to them Galatians 4:8-11; Acts 1:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:1, 2; and Deuteronomy 18:20-22? If no, why not?
And if by chance they make the claim that the organization has never said they speak for Jehovah as a prophet. Happily point them to the following articles:

And lastly, to put the nails in their coffin, cite them 2 Peter 1:21 and plainly state: "If the slave, while setting dates and speaking prophecies had actually been guided by holy spirit, they would have never been wrong."
If you wish to maintain your spirituality after you make the elders and anyone else look like the Pharisees, pray to God for guidance, I have no doubt he will sustain you through these very trying times.

Advice on Waiting for Jehovah

in discussions with a current jw, they told me that have big concerns with regards to the 607 bce date, but they are waiting on jehovah for refining.
any suggestions on questions to pose to them based on their feedback?.

The Society will continually ask brothers to "wait on Jehovah" whenever something is inexplicable.
Interestingly enough they seem to be exempt from their own recommendation.
Think about how many times the "light" has gotten brighter.
If the Society would just wait on Jehovah to reveal things (as they claim) there would not be a need to keep adjusting the "light".

June JW Broadcast - Jehovah's & Jesus' names Are Interchangeable!

he quotes matthew 10:22 - "and you will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my [jesus'] name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.".

It is clear to me and anyone else with common sense that the WTS says to put faith in Jehovah in order to be saved (confirmed just 2 weeks ago at Sunday public talk). No mention at all of Jesus or the necessity of putting faith in Jesus in order to be saved.
Johnamos, you can argue and side with the WTS but what is pronounced from the platform is Jehovah IS the savior period. Read the following passage in Daniel:
(Daniel 7:13, 14). . . “I kept watching in the visions of the night, and look! With the clouds of the heavens, someone like a son of man was coming; and he gained access to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him up close before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership, honor, and a kingdom, that the peoples, nations, and language groups should all serve him. His rulership is an everlasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom will not be destroyed.
And if Jesus is ruling now (WTS 1914 teaching) Jesus should be at the helm now per God. End of story, period.

by Doltologist inplease take pity on me someone and help.. i was going to say that i suffer from aspergers syndrome but actually, i've come to rather enjoy it.. no, seriously, i really do have aspergers which is why my posts may seem a little odd to some of you.
ok, they may seem bloody odd to most of you.. my world exists in a binary frame.
things are or they are not.. i know that in the "real world" things might be or might not be as well as are and are not.

The diverse life on Earth, our perfect ecosystem, and our incredibly complex body and mind is more than enough proof that a Creator does exist. How? The water cycle and how this provides enough water to sustain our existence on Earth. The human body with all its organs working in tandem most of them on autopilot. The diverse and incredibly voluminous amount of animal life found on Earth with different characteristics. The Earth being perfectly positioned from the Sun so life can thrive and our moon which provides nightlight and balances the elements so life can thrive in and out of the sea.
The evolving of life on Earth does not automatically lend itself for concrete proof of a divine Being having created everything but it sure closes the window or at least makes it very narrow for all of these things to have happened by complete coincidence. Ask any scientist to estimate the chances of the aforementioned happening and it becomes unrealistic.
And if a divine Being does exist and we have been told about him in the only book to ever survive this long and be the most widely publicized and printed book in the history of man, there has to be some credibility to this divine Being having a Son named Jesus who later on became the Christ.
