  among the snippets of dialogue i heard on my end of the line, these ones stood out:.

  satan's challenge involved humans and not poor animals.. i'm looking for an honest explanation from believers.. at this point, the older i get, the less i believe in a god who is "love"..

  They do not have a majority in the senate nor do they occupy the Whitehouse.

  Especially since it was Donald Trump who was the only one pushing it to generate faux fear of an invasion by "those other people" and move his minions to action.

  Married for 30 years

  today we celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my sons 16th birthday.

  i feel privileged to be able to show my appreciation and love for both the men in my life without feeling guilt.

  we left in 2009 as a family and have not regretted the choice.

  i resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.

  one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.

  i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

  I'm sorry, but I would've done the same thing. How dare they cut you out of their lives cold turkey for 30 years then when they are in dire straights expect you to come in and save them.

  Can't their spiritual brothers and sisters come to their aid? Or, how about that organization that they love so much?
