Experience in a talk
by Da.Furious inlast week we had an elder giving a talk, cant remember the title.. the thing that was of interest is the experience he gave:.
"a brother who was working in a hospital had to leave his job which was paying him good money because the nurses wanted to sleep with him and they kept putting notes for him on his desk!".
this is not the first time i hear similar experience.

This is enough evidence for me that the process is guided.
Even if science succeed one day than it's no guiding process, it will still constitue an evidence of guiding process for the guided-process fans.
Yes, It will be an evidence for the believer that the only case possible, is that the guider of the process has guided it to a no-guided way!

Is Watchtower's position on smoking consistent with its position on masturbation?
by Island Man inwatchtower considers masturbation to be a form of uncleanness but not a disfellowshipping offence because the bible says nothing about masturbation.
a jw who masturbates is likely to face no more than losing privileges in the congregation.. like masturbation, smoking is considered by jws to be a form of uncleannes and like masturbation, the bible says nothing about it.
but a jw who smokes faces disfellowshipping.. yes, smoking is known to be deleterious to a person's health whereas the jury is still out on the adverse health effects of masturbation.

BTW I was only disfellowshipped because I did not show a repentant attitude over admitting to occasionally getting drunk over the almost 20 years that I had been of legal drinking age
Ah, with such a disfellowshipping politic in France or Germany, in the 2015 yearbook, the number of publisher in these countries is 0... :D :D

Good Netflix shows to watch
by Simon inin the long winter nights you need some good tv shows to watch while you wait for the eternity between seasons of game of thrones.. we've watched marco polo (pretty good) and have just started watching orange is the new black which is not at all what i imagined (didn't know it was funny!).
house of cards is on the list too as we've heard good things about that.. anyone have any others that are worth seeing?.
