  i got an offer in the mail for mother earth magazine.. anyone like it?

  im not sure if im a liberal or not, i think its a liberal based format.

  its not all political, sort of like a shortened readers digest?

  I don't agree with your poker player. Sure It will still be loosers and winners... But more winners and less loosers than now...

  And it's important to take in consideration how the nowadays "winners" win... A lot cheats...and are proud of it!

  Then yes it will be winners and loosers... But i bet, If cheating is not allowed, it won't be the same as today..The world is not a poker game...

  I think that if everybody had the same background at the beginning,  after it's about personal responsability, no more about the chance to live in a place where you can have access to everything... Because most of the winners today depends on the LUCK to be born in the great places!

  I prefer the person who are loosers become loosers because they don't make the effort than they born loosers because they born in a place where it's nothing...

  many here go to churches who lie about everything biblical; look at x-mas!.

  but at least we know god and christ and try to live up to their name!.

  @magnum : And what is that supposed to be mean? Why it would it be ludicrous only to new JWs? To me, it should be ludicrous to anybody who hears it, but especially to those who are experienced JWs and have seen the evolution of the doctrine.

  On my mind, the ancient one are so much used as the "new light" comming regularly, that a new light or not, doesn't bother them so much in their obedience and confidence at the Borg. And an ancient one who find this new light "ludicrous" as you notice will react or by leaving the Borg or by shutting his mouth one more time.

  Or DocHouse is different he find the new light ludicrous, open his mouth on it an want us to keep confidence in the Borg. 

  All that made me think he's a new JW. But I'm perhaps totally wrong!

  i am proud to be a jehovah's witness in the last days, what religion has done this much to proclaim the message about the organization?

  other religions are preaching about jesus, some wear the crucifixion, other's wear shirts with fishes but we wear shirts with jw.org!

  no other religion has our courage!.

  Are you really sure about that ? Knowing that putting advertisment on bus can give more than 20% of increase of the year takings ? Or the advertisment is paid, or the owner of the bus is JW.

  @vidiot : In fact, i found some details on the french net. This bus is not in metropolitan france, but it's in guadeloupe, french overseas departement.

  Like you, I find that kind of ad strange in France. But in guadeloupe, even under the french laws, they have some local arrangments... this should be one... knowing that JW are more than 2% of the people there!

   I have (need) a few shots of Vodka to help me zone out at the meeting. 

  It's exactly how i became alcoholic. I needed few shots, at the end I needed the whole bottle...  and now I need a whole dry year...
