Hell, with all the weirdness coming out of WTHQ these days, it's like they're practically begging the faders, fakers, and fence-sitters to f**k off.
And they are begging the partakers too, as they call them mentally ill :)
does shunning accomplish its objectives:.
make the person repent?.
deter others from committing similar offenses in the future?.

physicists study famous historical myths for hidden truths.
the truth behind some of the worlds most famous historical myths, including homers epic, the iliad, has been bolstered by researchers who have analysed the relationships between the myths characters and compared them to real-life social networks..
I don't know why, i can't edit my post :
While writing, I finish my post in french...
the two sentence in french mean
1) link to a full directory of historic texts, and then a lot of ancient one
2) link to a directory of mathematical cuneiform tablet

i stumbled across a scripture today.
it's numbers 13:33 "and there we saw the nephilim, the sons of anak, who are from the nephilim, and in comparison we seemed like grasshoppers, both to us and to them.. now if they honestly believed that they saw the nephilim, it would mean that some nephilim would have had to survive the flood or that the hijinks of the fallen angels before the flood, happened again shortly thereafter.
the only other thing i can come up with is that nephilim was some kind of generic word that implied giant proportions, but not necessarily the nephilim.. comments from the more educated appreciated.. silent.
And yes the library has great books there from Thomas horn and steve quayle.
ok, I see...

Thanks for your input everyone. I personally think the Bible has a bit more credence so as to not be written off as a myth. I approach it as a book of truth and go from there.
Then why you ask first for educated people to answer you ? If you just wanted believer people to answer you?

Certainly feel free to continue telling me that it's all lies and fables.
cofty didn't say it's lies or fables, he says it's myth. It's something totally different!
With me you will have a lot of book to read, my dear.
You can read this three books of the french (christian) anthropologist René Girard, who explain very great the power of the myth on a civilisation. There is no civilisation, even now, without its own foundation myth!
2. Things hidden since the foundation of the world
3. The violence and the sacred
The reading of these three very interesting books, will make you stop to think that myth are lies!
(you can read long excerpts of these books on amazon)
Do you think the Watchtower will arrange a low interest loan for me?
You'd better go at the bank ask the more expensive renewal credit : the interest rate will be cheaper...
