Nothing. I KNOW God exists because He revealed Himself to me by His grace. I am a very rational person and I know for an absolute fact God is real but so is satan. I have experienced genuine miracles of God just as they are written in the Bible but I have also experienced stuff from the demonic side.

Every person who is born again of the Spirit knows God is real. I understand why people think God is not real. I really do. It's just that they are separated from God because of sin. They need to turn to the real Jesus Christ and be regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. It's a supernatural experience from God. He changes you from the inside out by His Spirit. Unless it happens to you it just doesn't make sense. And I understand that.

That said, God said if you seek Him with all of your heart you will find Him.

I have observed the programming of the JWs when I played Bible ping pong with two JWs (probably elders). I mentioned that Greek scholars disagreed with the NWT rendering of John 1:1. I quoted one scholar and the JW just flat out said he is an apostate. I was just stunned thinking where did that come from? He doesn't even know the scholar personally.

I also emailed an associate (can't call him a friend because he never befriended me) I used to play basketball with for years. I gave him a lot of information concerning the Watchtower such as their false prophecies and he got off on a temper tantrum and thought I was attacking him. I was seriously tried to deliver this in the most delicate, nicest, kindest manner but his faith in the "truth" is just unbelievable in light of what I showed him. He just seemed very irrational and childish. So I know the programming or brainwashing is real just as I have gathered from my research.

That said, most of the JWs Ive met besides them are just average people. Most are extremely nice and cordial people but just deceived - big time. I feel for them and I really want to deliver the truth about the "truth" to them and I want to be very wise on how to go about delivering it to them.

I think everyone has the right to at least hear the truth even though they may not accept it. If you were caught up in a deception wouldn't you want to know the real truth?

I plan to go to another Kingdom Hall this Sunday and I going to be very "outgoing" to try to get to know as most people as I can. I am sure at least one person will want my contact for study so that will open up an opportunity for me.

Okay, so I just got back from my first meeting.

I noticed that the people there were racially mixed which is a good thing in my opinion. Most churches are still racially segregrated for the most part. I know JWs are known to be very welcoming of non whites.

I don't like being in a room without windows and for whatever reason this building didn't have any windows. I felt a little claustrophobic in there.

I also noticed the demographic skewed much older. Most of the people there were 40+ with a few young adults here and there. I asked a lot of people there how long they have been a JW and most of them said all of their life.

The whole "meeting" was just one big bore to me. However I found it interesting that they have people be an actor and play scenarios on stage as a way to teach how to study the Bible with people.

I noticed their teaching of the Bible is very shallow and dumbed down. One of the teachers said something like isn't it great someone is teaching the Bible? He asked have you ever known someone who teaches from the Bible? I was like is he serious? He must have lived an isolated life.

That said the people there are very nice, kind people. I didn't get any cult vibes at all. They seemed like regular people. I didn't get the brainwashed, drone vibe from anyone.

A lot of people introduced themselves to me and asked where I was from and who invited me. I wanted to talk about doctrine and the Bible but I held back because I think it's just too soon. I will plan to be back and drop some seeds.

One man before I left asked very kindly for my number and of course I obliged. I know he wants to study even though he didn't mention it so I will use that opportunity to plant seeds in him.

Okay, I'm about to go to my first Kingdom Hall meeting or study or whatever it is called in about a hour. I have been doing a very indepth study on Jehovah's Witnesses from reading their literature, listening to testimonies etc. etc. I am curious to compare all the stories I've read with the actual experience. I wonder if the stereotype I read about them are true (I don't doubt they are but you know...).

I plan to go to two different Kingdom Halls throughout the week.

I really want to reach out to them. I am not going to very blatant with my preaching. I am going to ask questions as my seed planting. I think I know how to be subtle. I am not going to ask questions out in the open. I will ask questions with people in one on one conversations.

It will be probably be uneventful but I'll share my experience on this thread.

Pray for me if you believe in Jesus.

What if after a while going there I show certain people the Watchtower's false prophecies, flip flops etc. using their own literature, how would most JWs react?
