aww, i like the name Weezer! remember that episode of the Wonder Years when kevin and paul have to do a school project with a hamster and Wayne ends up sucking the hamster into the vacuum cleaner? i totally CRIED at that episode every time i saw it as a kid. anyway, that hamster's name was Weezer. i don't know if there is a connection or not, but i find the possibility distinctly endearing.

this morning on the radio, they had a little contest to see who could nail the worst band name on a list made by some ideot.

i tried to get through, but i was wrong anyway.

devon williams, formerly of osker, is in a band called Fingers Cut Megamachine. call me crazy, but it sucks and Osker was a way better band anyway.

also, i love emo bands, god knows, but the three-word-nonsense-often-involving-a-girl's-name is getting a little old. example: the juliana theory, the marianna prosperity, the audrye sessions. also anything involving a day of the week or month: the early november, taking back sunday, blue october, etc. your names all sound the same, kids!!! new gimmick, please!!!! asdchd.

Actually, all of this makes me realize my big problem with women; I don't have an action plan and rules of engagement memorized, dam(k)nit! It's Jehovah's fault for not letting me get in Boy Scouts and learn preparedness.

i don't even know what to think about having a "plan of action." all of these gimmicks sound weird to me! just be yourself!! although i was recently informed by one of my guy friends that: "every guy has an agenda. AL LTHE TIME. so don't think they don't." i hope that isn't true!!

i hate that mushy mushy love stuff. my official stance is that boys are icky and have cooties, except the ones who are my friends and build forts with me and wrestle and play video games. my new gimmick is that i am a love-hating harpie, and i am regressing back to second grade until further notice. it's fun and i like it. that's all!!
