It would be very interesting to see the ratio of Christian to Non-Christian is among ex-JW's.

I myself am a Non-Christian who refers to God as god. I strongly believe that god is all of us and in all of us and what all of us believe god is.

I was reading about ancient JW history that I never new of when I was doing the door-to-door thang and I came across the whole CTRussell believing God lived in Plieades. Now that is a damn fine belief. I really like it. Almost as much as James Spader in Stargate. Almost.

can someone please explain to me why a person who was one a jw, left, bitched and complained about them, the way they think, the things they do...and then go back to them

i just don't understand it ...can someone please help clarify this for me...i'm at a loss on this one.

Your response has many of the elements one would expect from someone who yearns for "the good old days."

Let's not allow the religious forbearing of our youth define how/who we communicate with now. All religons deserve respect; whether inane or not. Other's spent their youth having their minds molded by other religons are other things than public speaking and Book, Chapter, Verse.

I look backward at the brainwashing of my youth and see how clearly I now see the brainwashing of others' youth (AND INDEED RIGHT NOW!) It does no good to condemn what others would redo or re-fnd the comfortable connections of yore. IT DOES GOOD to love your children wholeheartedly; to love yourself almost as much; and to let others see that love IN PERSON.

Please trust yourself at least enough to let others look at your self trust and smile
