The Last Days

because i am starting to believe that.
i dont believe in 1914 or that israel becoming a nation started the last days as believed by many fundamentalist.

Yes, there are 2 Last Days, ancient Israel's and the whole world's. Jesus regularly stressed the lateness of the Hour that He would Return for the latter. Matthew 20: 1-16, 24: 48 and 25: 1-13 (note vs. 5&6) Matthew 25: 14-19 (note vs. 19), Mark 13: 32-37, Luke 12: 36-40,
The fact that Jesus repeatedly illustrated the lateness and/or delay of His coming should cause a red flag to go up in our minds now that we are here in 2005 thinking 'He's probably not coming now.' Matthew 24:44b

An Elder Told Me.... Many To Be Disfellowshipped Soon...
by Doubtfully Yours inan elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.
he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.
i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy

Control, its all about control. Speculation is a form of critical thinking, discourage critical thinking and make the congregation dependant on you for all their beliefs, views and opinions and you have total control over them.
