about a week ago it was brought to administrations attention that there may be apostates lurking on our board, as a precautionary measure we deleted 107 members who had never posted since they joined.

Thank you so much! That's an amazing history... much, much more than I knew about. Crazy. Sounds like quite a few of the former mods are over here now. :) I really appreciate you listing that out. I once lurked on JWZone (back before I even had a connection to dubs, I think.. just out of curiosity!) but that for, maybe, a day. I didn't know what happened after that, until I had a REASON to look up JW stuff (got serious with my inactive dub boyfriend who is now my husband)... found this site, and from here, WitnessWorld.

That's really interesting, Redhorse... I haven't been around too long (online in the Witness/ex-Witness world) - did there used to be more true Witness message board sites? I only know of 2 or 3 now. But I've heard a lot refered to in the past tense.
I wonder how long they will continue... or if the Society will eventually shut them down.
