"You Should Be Loyal To The Organization Because It Taught You God's Name"
by minimus in...so said my mother when she asked me to read the latest watchtower on "the apostates".
she said that because i learned "jehovah" was god's name and because "the organization taught" me this, i should, out of loyalty stay in the organization.
i did not want to get into the "jehovah" name thing but i said in return that if she strongly felt this way, then she should have remained a catholic.

Witnesses coming Saturday... I need HELP!!!!
by Globetrotter ini got into a rather heated discussion this morning with my unbaptised but raised jehovah's witness wife.
we discussed so many things: feb 1 watchtower article on 607 and 1914, the un, beth sarim, blood, god's mouthpiece here on earth, etc.
this was yet another attempt on my part to try to plant a seed of doubt.

welcome globetrotter , i am in the same situation my wife of 12 years was exposed to jw through her family but walked away in here teens , then i found out she began studing about 2 years ago. i also asked for & meet with 2 elders at my reguest. we are still together but our live together is not the same and never will be. for me i've tried to plant seeds of doubt ie. studing with elders, reading c.o.c. by ray franz , but nothing will work if she wont open here mind and think & guestion things for herself. im staying in with my wife for i have 2 sons i will keep out of the j-dubs control''. if you attempt to use the elders as i have to regain your wife be carefull of any thing you say to them in private they will advise her at a latter time, this will come back to haunt you. also as a side note i've been accused by my wife of every thing from being a apostate , being against god , presucating her , mental heath problems , depression , domestic abuse , all of these accusation came at the same time of her studing these with her groups. if i can be of any support please pm me and i'll send you a e-mail good luck and God be with you. , midwest

it was helpful to have them separated before while i was trying to make them all.
but now i think it is easier to have them separated.. ballistic has done an amazing job with the map of the uk you can find it at.

by Mysterious ini keep hearing how everyone posts and says that no one in the congregation noticed or cared about them..i have the opposite problem.
i can't get sick of miss anything and they are all swarming around me "making sure i'm okay" telling me "how much they missed me" and some of them quite sincere about it.
i just wish they would all leave me the hell alone.

Infidelity amongst JWs
by YellowLab indoes there seem to be a higher incidence of infidelity amongst the jws?.
my brother, who is an active jw and ministerial servant, has an elder friend who was recently disfellowshipped for having an affair with another sister in the hall.
it turns out this sister was divorced a few years earlier from a "worldly" man who had an affair on her.

i'm not aware of any infidelity in my area but, in a same kh of less than 100 i know of in the last 2 years of 2 destroyed families , 2 more divorces , 1 suicide , and my own family separated at i least count 54 people lives ruined most are children and this is only contact started with 1 person the same in all cases ,

update : hapemelissa , last night i had elders from my wifes kh visted me home ( wife & i are separated , fighting for custody of my children ) . wanting me to return to wife , offered help , there reasons were that because i was the male & showed intrest in their studies that they could convince here it would be the correct thing . but the real reason is i've file laysuits against 3 menbers of their hall for child endangerment. & 1 of them listed is a wife of a very high city official . they are only concered in their secrect socitey. they really cared less about me or my family , run , run , run
....
