LEICESTER: Norma Kissoon, Jehovah's Witness, died after she refused a blood transfusion which could have saved her life at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. She had lived at Braunstone Town, had undergone an angiogram at Glenfield Hospital showed no trace of heart disease but triggered internal bleeding. nsultant Dr James Reid said a senior house officer spoke to her about a blood transfusion. He said: "We were aware she was a Jehovah's Witness and he said without a blood transfusion there was a risk of death. She was clear she did not want it even it if was life-saving. I think it is more likely she would have survived had she allowed a blood transfusion or clotting agents to be given. "The issue was discussed by four doctors and the surgical team." Doctors fought to save her. A post-mortem examination found blood loss caused her death. Consultant vascular surgeon Professor Peter Bell said "A blood transfusion at almost any stage in this treatment would, on the balance of probabilities, have saved her life. Deputy coroner was Peter Ward. A spokeswoman for the General Medical Council said "Our guidance on consent means the fact that the lady was a competent adult entitles her to say no to any treatment." Thomas Maxwell (of Clackmannanshire), an elder of Jehovah's Witness and a JW for over 30 years, was sentenced to 3 years probation and 240 hours community service for sex offences against a 12-year-old. At Alloa Sheriff Court, Sheriff William Reid said he decided not to impose a prison sentence because influenced by Maxwell's voluntary exile to a remote part of the Western Isles. But residents vowed to not pay taxes in protest. In 2002 Maxwell was jailed 3 years for offences dating back 30 years, and the Western Isles Council planned to rehouse him on his release. According to the protesters, the house being prepared for him is close to a primary school. Patience Edema, a Jehovah's Witness, 24, died 3 days after giving birth to her second daughter Oct 24, 2002, from complications after an emergency hysterectomy an operation to remove the womb. At an inquest into her death at Walthamstow Coroner's Court, coroner Elizabeth Stearns said Mrs Edema, of Grange Park Road, Leyton, died from "post-operative complications for which she refused medical intervention, namely, a blood transfusion." Mrs Edema, who was 7 1/2 months pregnant and had suffered two previous miscarriages in Nigeria, had arrived at Whipps Cross for a routine appointment with her husband Omatseye. The husband had also refused blood treatment for her and said "I am now left alone on a strange terrain to cater for my two daughters as a single parent. All my wife's ambitions and inspirations have been nipped in the bud. Can my life be the same again?" MERTHYR MERTHYR TYDFIL: Jehovah's Witness Ian David Webb (30), from Merthyr Tydfil, who was jailed for four years for forcing an 11-year-old girl to carry out sex acts has had his sentence almost doubled at the Court of Appeal. Webb had been jailed at Cardiff Crown Court in July 2003, but Attorney General Lord Goldsmith QC challenged the sentence as 'unduly lenient' and Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf, increased his sentence from 4 to 7 years. Webb from Troedyrhiw in the south Wales valleys, was convicted at Cardiff Crown Court in July of three indecent assaults, attempted rape and indecency with a child. Addressing the Court of Appeal on behalf of the attorney general, Simon Denison said Webb picked on an "emotionally vulnerable" girl and made her feel "isolated" before abusing her. His attacks against her worsened until he attempted to rape her in the late-1990s when she was 11. She did not until a teen when she saw him with other children for whom she feared then went to the police. By pleading not guilty, observed the appeal court judge, Webb added to her ordeal by having to testify against him in court. )2 have originated about 8,900 years ago using a cognate database,hittite being near the root of the ie family followed by tocharian ,greek and armenian.. there4 the ie languagues spread with agriculture in2 europe arriving in scotland 5500 years ago.. question?.
how will they explain this?

The scriptures say a division of languages occurred in the Middle East, not that the first ever language was created there. Major language families except Chinese with a presence there now are Kurdish which is Indo-European, Ural-Altaic which is represented by Turkish, and Arabic which is Semitic.
