  Many many books from library on 586/87

  i have listed all the books i found at the library that mention 586/87 as the fall of jerusalem.

  i was also able to link to all of them (except the first one listed) on amazon.com!

  many are out of print or unavailable as new books but you can buy almost all of them used on amazon.com ... some are only $10-12 each!

  Two years ago Scholar and I were involved in a long discussion of these same issues. The posts regarding malkhuth start about halfway down page 7 and go all the way through page 14. I cited some technical references in the course of the discussion which I think would be of interest to both of you. Earnest, Alan, Gamaliel, Sim, and others were also involved. I think it makes for fun reading. (Page 7 starts slowly, but the action picks up on the next pages.)

  next week dansk (ian) is going into the hospital to start chemotherapy.

  although i wish i would have thought of this before--ian mentioned on this week's vigil thread it would lift his spirits to receive cards from us on the forum.

  Ummm, if I am calculating correctly, 5.8 liters is 196.04 ounces, which would be 12.25 pints, or just about three 2-liter bottles of soda! I can't believe Ian was bearing up all week with that much fluid in his lung. Our dear friend has a lot of grit.
