  What a fantastic facility!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I didn't know about this, and I go there every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I was so impressed I sent him one myself.

  As you have probably guessed, it's Claire here.

  Ian's on antibiotics at the moment as they've found an infection lurking in his lung.Chemo probably starts Monday.

  He's going to be SO MADE UP with your thoughts and wishes and cards and egreetings. I'll tell you now, he'll be in floods of tears.

  Thank you so much Marjorie for your detective work on the Christie website. You've certainly come up trumps!!

  Sorry to hear Ian's battling a lung infection ... I wonder if that had anything to do with the awful fatigue he felt last week?

  I looked around the Christie Hospital site, and I am very impressed with the services they offer. This e-greeting feature is such a wonderful idea! I am excited that Ian will be able to hear from us so soon.

  I hope Ian has a room overlooking the hospital gardens:

  I'm logging off for tonight. Let's try to keep this BTT through tomorrow so that Ian will receive a whole stack of e-greetings on Monday!

  You have to select the proper "Ward" from the pull-down menu. Since he is in the Adult Leukaemia Ward, I selected "ALU" --- I hope that's right!

  For anyone who wants to send a regular greeting card, the address is:

  I'm excited! I was wishing there was a way we could hurry our greeting cards up and get them to him sooner.

  Now we can surprise him with a pile of email greetings printed out and delivered on Monday! I'm impressed that the Christie Hospital offers a wonderful service like this!

  Hey, everyone! Look what I found on the Christie Hospital site:

  http://www.christie.nhs.uk/greetings/Default.aspx

  We can send e-greetings to Ian!
  Volunteers will print them out and deliver them to the patients between 9-5 from M-F.

  You have to select the proper Ward. I am guessing that "ALU" on the pull-down menu stands for Adult Leukaemia Unit, so I used that.
