hey mustang - that is a cool and direct letter - i think it will be respected - mine was certainly read and had a reaction as i have had numerous attempts made by the PO to deliver a copy of a letter from the london bethel 'explaining' away the UN membership - after a few months of just ignoring the door, i feel i'm almost there and very proud to be XJW - welcome to the club

hey mustang - sounds a bit like my problem - despite having disassociated myself some months ago, i still get regular calls and the door gets a good thrashing before they give up and go away ...
i'm hopeful that when they study the 'shunning' article in the august kingdum ministry, they'll realise they're going against the borganisation and stop calling on me
so, although it hasn't worked for me as yet, i would suggest you write to them and disassociate yourself

I won't cut my beard!
by caballoSentado insome time ago i learned of the un affair & saw the truth...i am fading away now so i have not been attending meetings regularly for some time, specially the book study.
two days ago, i learned that a letter was read in my book study regarding personal attire, and it was said that one should not grow a beard (this letter was not read in any of the other book studies).
they say you are not a good christian, you are not spiritual, if you grow a beard.

this is more of an american issue - elders in uk have beards - and are not radicals .. heehee
