for those of you who met with a judicial committee and were subsequently da'd or df'd, was it worth the time and effort?

did the elders let you speak your piece, or were they only interested in hearing that key word or phrase that would allow them to act?

was there genuine interest shown, proboing questions asked, did they really want to know how you felt?

April 1st Question From Readers Justifies "Bribery" and "Tipping"At Times!

i don't have the magazine but i read it at my mother's yesterday.

the gist of the article is that some christian's consciences might allow them to give a "gift" or payment to an official to speed up some paperwork or get them to look at something that they might otherwise ignore because they weren't "tipped"!

.......i wonder if this has anything to do with the dumbo thing going on in brooklyn (crooklyn).....

I heard the WTS bought a brand new fire truck for a town that didnt have one. Dont remember why. Maybe someone else has heard and knows what I am talking about. I think it had to do with the town did not currently having a tall enough ladder or boom on the truck they had so they would not give the WTS permission to build a building that was too tall for them to service in the event of a fire. So the WTS bought them a truck big enough to handle it and recieved permission to build from the council. Anyone remember this?

visited fossil rim wildlife preserve and also to dinosaur valley state park...here's some pics and if any of you haven't visited it is a nice day trip from dallas.
