Yay Im gonna be on TV
by bboyneko inthe producers saw a baltimore sun article me and my friends were in nd they want us to film a promo for the sequel to 'that 70's show' which is called 'that 80's show' .
we are filming the promo next wedesday, ill letcha guys know the details as i get em!.

my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.
i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

No Change in 1991 - Library Card
by Lionel_P_Hartley ini received the folowing two emails from dana loytved who is senior reference librarian at the un library in nyc.. in view of her first reply i asked her what procedure the wts used to access the library before 1991. her second reply is a bit cryptic but she states with confidence that there were no changes in procedure.
i don't want to pester these kind folks any more.. .
the procedure for a library pass is the following: the interested party needs to fill out an application form and supply a letter of recommendation in support of the research.

ROTFLMA @ Sky. LOLOLOL...That is too funny. I think we've all had feelings like that from time to time. I could probably list 2 or 3 exes.
My boyfriend looks the sweetest when he sleeps. There is nothing I love more than curly up next to him when he's in that peaceful state and putting my arms around him. And I think he is the most gorgeous when he laughs. His entire face lights up with a laugh that is contagious. God I love that man!

Resignation - not that it matters at all, but ....
by TheOldHippie ini just wanted those kind-hearted, those gentle, those friendly ones of you to know that i wrote my letter of resignation as an elder yesterday, after having served in that capasity for 24 years.. those wishing to call me or any society "bastard", "sucker", "braindead" or anything, as they have before, i would ask please to refrain from that.
other comments would be welcome.. somehow, it is the armstrong quote about "one small step for man, one giant leap for humankind" (approximately) the other way around, "one giant leap for (a) man, one hardly noticeable step for humankind".. ok, that was that.

Typical JW thinking....A person, whom you no NOTHING about decides to resign as an elder and automatically, it's because there is something wrong with HIM. Instead of showing concern, and supporting him & encouraging him as your brother, you make a smart ass comment like that.
